Some time after the starry sky was refined, on a barren mountain overseas in Japan.

This mountain had been forgotten by the world. Its summit was nearly entirely covered with jagged rocks, and enormous boulders lay scattered across it in chaotic disarray.

Some jutted up like sharp blades, pointing straight into the sky; others were like the colossal bones of ancient beasts, scattered across the mountain and exuding a chilling aura.

The coast was a stretch of black rock. The turbulent sea relentlessly battered the shore, sending sprays of water into the air and filling the place with the salty scent of the ocean.

At the center of the mountain was a gray-white stone valley. Jagged peaks surrounded it, and the mountainsides were overgrown with weeds. The place was filled with a sense of desolation. There was no flowing water, nor any trace of living creatures—it was like a dead world.

Jia Meng and the others arrived at the barren mountain with a party of six. Mei Chu couldn't help but complain.

"So this is the place you picked? It's way too run-down." Mei Chu wrinkled her nose in distaste.

"Welcome to the ruins of Mount Ruins." Jia Meng smiled and introduced the place to the group.

Besides Jia Meng, the party of six included Mei Chu, Jia Ruo, and three others.

Among them were an older man with an imposing presence, Jia Ruo, who had been rescued from the demons, and Mei Chu and the others, who had once fought alongside Jia Meng.

"Does this mountain have a name? I remember it being called something like Mount Ruins." The older man looked around and asked.

"Of course it does. This is my mountain." Jia Meng spread his arms and declared proudly.
