Tang Qi led the Fierce Roar Tribe into conflict with the Beastkin and followed Kane and Fide into the Twilight Forest, where he uncovered the truth behind the Night Raven family and Sean’s blood mist. After ending the castle’s repeating tragedy, he exposed Kane’s deception and offered the Beastkin a way to leave their cursed village.

• Tang Qi made Shivana lead the Fierce Roar Tribe south, then rallied the tribe against the Beastkin and used healing magic and Kuru’s support to establish himself as their prophet.
• Tang Qi brought captives to the Beastkin village and negotiated with Kane and Fide for food and information, then traveled with them toward the hags’ former castle.
• Tang Qi discovered that Fide had lured the group into the Vampire Mist, which Arthur identified as the remains of vampires, and continued on to the castle despite her warnings.
• Tang Qi found the Night Raven family portrait and met Van Vreene, whose account revealed that the familiar story of Sean, Elizabeth, and the Night Raven family was false.
• Tang Qi found Lilith, the imprisoned author Mary Sue, and learned from her writings that Sean had become a vampire to protect Lilith and the Night Raven family before dying in sunlight.

Tang Qi led his companions through the Wasteland, seeking a way to restore Dawn and uncovering House Hal’s lost research while confronting the Lizardmen of Uhaha Basin. The group secured a cure for Halahar and learned their route to the Calm Belt might bring them face to face with a Red Dragon, while Shivana’s sudden outburst left Tang Qi demanding an explanation.

• Arthur cured Eric’s curse, and Tang Qi urged the villagers to choose freely whether to leave before helping establish new doctrines for the Beastfolk.
• Tang Qi declared Shivana chief, then Arthur and Fide departed as Tang Qi continued his journey and received several rewards, including the Spirit Story: Song of the Vampire.
• Anbi’s hunting party was petrified by Serpent-Chicken venom, but Dawn rescued them, and Tang Qi’s group then reached the Wasteland, where wild magic transformed Dawn into a doll and sheep adventurers revealed their encounter with a Red Dragon.
• Tang Qi met Halahar and House Hal’s refugees, learned that Source Essence was needed to restore Dawn, and decided to search for a missing Wizard Tower device along the failed expedition’s route.

Tang Qi and his companions defeated the Red Dragon, discovered that Butcher was Merlin Hal’s clone, and helped him sacrifice himself to quiet the Tide of Chaos. Afterward, Tang Qi faced new attention from the Tyron Empire, grew closer to Halahar, and continued south with Kuru choosing to stay by his side.

• Tang Qi helped Gulu Gulu reclaim his family’s home from the Hill Giants, then found Merlin’s portrait in the cyclopes’ demiplane and followed clues toward Windless Canyon.
• Tang Qi and his companions fought the injured Red Dragon, and Butcher’s memories resurfaced as he helped Tang Qi kill it and free Spitfire’s soul.
• Toto Hal revealed that Merlin’s mental power sustained the Calm Belt and that his missing clone threatened to unleash the Tide of Chaos, while Tang Qi realized Butcher was that clone.
• Tang Qi helped Butcher fulfill wishes for friendship and adventure, and Butcher admitted he planned to sacrifice himself to save those threatened by the Tide of Chaos.
• Shivana carried the Orichalcum Coffin into the elemental storm, and Butcher killed Merlin’s body inside it, quieting the storm before Tang Qi’s firework restored Butcher’s memories and wish to keep adventuring.
• Geya learned that the Tyron Empire was watching Tang Qi, while Tang Qi gained new Journal rewards and tested the abilities of his reinforced Spore Replicator.

Tang Qi led his companions into the Ebony Forest, where he uncovered its communal customs and pursued Rumi after the Queen lured him toward a wish. The group reached the clouds and found Rumi searching for his mother, then joined Ponto’s troupe to retrieve Forget-Worry Grass as Tang Qi investigated the Queen’s resurrected dead.

• Catherine sent Wendy with supplies and a Message Stone for Tang Qi, while Tang Qi calmed Shivana’s Wild Magic and set out with Dawn and Anbi toward the Ebony Forest.
• Tang Qi reunited with Rumi, negotiated with Markwen, and entered the Ebony Forest, where Shalti explained that the plague had come from chaotic arcane energy linked to the Golden Country.
• Tang Qi learned that the Society raised children communally after the plague, then joined Little Beard, Markwen, and Shalti in gathering Pixie Dust to reach the clouds and rescue Rumi.
