Huge rats poured out of the darkness one after another, piling into a mound in the blink of an eye. When the swarm dispersed, a graceful figure appeared before the siblings.
"Mei!"
Rat Woman looked at her brother and smiled.
"We meet again."
"Hmph!"
The younger sister snorted coldly. She took a step closer to her brother, instinctively blocking Rat Woman's gaze.
"What are you doing here?" the archer Mei asked coldly.
"It's over between us."
"Tsk, tsk..." The siblings' attitudes made Rat Woman shake her head and click her tongue.
"How heartless. Have you forgotten the days we spent together? That time was truly wonderful."
"Bah!" Before her brother could speak, the younger sister's expression changed drastically.
"How shameless!"
"I didn't think it was wonderful either," her brother said. "I only found it disgusting!"
As he spoke, he looked toward the rats in the corner, as though he had thought of some unspeakable scene. His expression became extremely ugly.
"A lover can never compare to a younger sister, but a younger sister can never become a lover." Watching their intimate manner, Rat Woman lowered her voice.
"That may not necessarily be true..."
"Rat Woman." Her brother frowned. "Tell me, what exactly are you here for?"
"Business." Rat Woman shrugged. "I want to ask you two siblings to help me kill someone."
"Hmph!" The younger sister curled her lip. "Do you think we'll agree?"
"There will be a reward." Rat Woman spoke up. "I know you've always wanted to leave Black City. Now you've got your chance. Kill that person, and you can exchange for permission to leave the city through the City Guard."
The siblings exchanged a glance, and both saw the eagerness in the other's eyes.
"We want Black Stone!"
Her brother spoke.
"I don't trust the City
