Ch. 1109Mandate Temple

After Qin Guan rejected the seven defectors who begged to return to Spirit Marsh Peak, he led the crowd back into the Dao Origin Realm trial while Liu Shang struggled with her feelings for him. At the Mandate Temple, Hall Master Zhi Ming discovered that Qin Guan was rapidly draining the Ten Thousand Demon Tower’s baleful qi and began probing his origins.

  • The seven defectors, including the other Qin Guan, knelt and begged to rejoin Spirit Marsh Peak, but Zhao Jianfeng and Liu Shang rejected them, and Qin Guan led the crowd back into the trial.

  • Zhi Ming entered the tower’s Lower Realm and saw Qin Guan emerge with more than two thousand people and a sixth Primordial Soul Stone.
  • Qin Guan sensed someone watching him, so Zhi Ming decided to investigate his origins and sent two divine beams toward the void.

Ch. 1110Eldest Brother From Now On

Zhi Ming failed to see through the ancient power protecting Qin Guan and ordered a secret investigation while pursuing the Qi Yuan Civilization inheritance. After Qin Guan led over two thousand cultivators through the Ten Thousand Demon Tower and gathered a vast haul, he gave everyone a share of the Primordial Soul Stones and won their allegiance.

  • Zhi Ming's Divine Illumination was blocked by an ancient aura within Qin Guan, and Lin Suisui warned Zhi Ming that Qin Guan was her prey.

  • Qin Guan proposed dividing the points and Primordial Soul Stones among the 2,200 participants, though Big Bear urged him to keep the stones.
  • Qin Guan insisted on sharing the stones, and the cultivators declared him their eldest brother; he privately told Little Black Tower he hoped the gesture would help him make connections.

Ch. 1111The Final Trial

Qin Guan distributed points and Primordial Soul Stones among his companions before entering the mysterious final trial despite their warnings. His friends were left behind, hoping he could return safely even though no one had ever come back from it.

  • Qin Guan and Zhao Jianfeng arranged for the Tower Slave to distribute the group’s points, with Qin Guan receiving most of the points farmed by the thirteen-person team.
  • Qin Guan kept sixteen of the eighty-eight Primordial Soul Stones and gave the other seventy-two to Liu Shang and the eleven Junior Brothers.

  • Qin Guan learned that the Dao demon was pinned down in the city by the Primordial Tower, which Lin Suisui said was born from Primordial Chaos and could see through his hidden tower.
  • Qin Guan agreed to head toward the city for its promised fried chicken and learned that the Primordial Tower was female.

Ch. 1113Strange City

  • Qin Guan left the forest and saw a city with gray walls and green stone streets, but no people or sounds.

Ch. 1114The Chicken Boss

Ch. 1115Looking Down On

Qin Guan met the Primordial Tower Spirit and offered to help kill the Dao demon, but she dismissed his claims before recognizing the Chaos Tower he carried. Lin Suisui then explained the tower’s connection to the Ten Thousand Demon Tower and brought Qin Guan to study its Primordial Heaven and Earth Principles.

  • Qin Guan confronted the Primordial Tower Spirit, who said she remained to suppress the Dao demon and doubted he could defeat it.

Ch. 1116Go In and Play a Round

After spending half a month comprehending Dao patterns in the Primordial Tower, Qin Guan learned from Gu Mingyuan that his progress was extraordinary and accepted an invitation to visit the Confucian Sect. He then joined Lin Suisui at the tower’s casino, where he discovered Chicken Elder running the dice table.

  • Qin Guan fully comprehended seven Dao patterns in half a month, strengthening the power runes on his Divine Great Dao Tablet.

  • Qin Guan followed Lin Suisui’s advice and wagered all 234 Primordial Soul Stones on triples, while the crowd bet heavily on big and small.
  • Chicken Elder revealed three ones, and Qin Guan won the bets as well as the house’s ten-to-one payout.
  • The defeated gamblers left in regret while Chicken Elder invited newcomers to gamble, and Qin Guan decided to keep playing.
  • Little Black Tower warned Qin Guan that his winnings were attracting resentment from people connected to the Mandate Temple and the Confucian Sect, but Qin Guan dismissed the danger.
  • After everyone refused to bet against Qin Guan, the Primordial Tower Spirit appeared and said, “I’ll play with him.”

Ch. 1119Two Wins Out of Three

  • The Primordial Tower Spirit won the second round with a big roll, tying the score.
  • The Primordial Tower Spirit tried to use Space-Time Foresight for the deciding round, but Lin Suisui blocked her vision and urged her to play fairly.

Ch. 1120Suspicious Person

Qin Guan won nearly ten thousand Primordial Soul Stones, learned about Lin Suisui’s time-and-space foresight, and gained unrestricted access to the Primordial Tower’s dojo. Meanwhile, the Ten Thousand Demon Tower’s trial ended without Qin Guan emerging, and a white-robed Divine Son began investigating his possible connection to Divine Ash Mountain’s inheritance.

  • Qin Guan beat the Tower Spirit at dice, collected five thousand Primordial Soul Stones, and was driven out of Chicken Elder’s casino after no one else would gamble with him.
  • Qin Guan offered Lin Suisui half his winnings, and she explained that her power of time and space let her glimpse possible futures while consuming her strength.
  • The Primordial Tower opened the dojo restriction and told Qin Guan he could enter to comprehend whenever he wished, while Lin Suisui left and Qin Guan began studying the Dao patterns.
  • The Ten Thousand Demon Tower’s trial gates closed with Qin Guan still missing, so the Tower Slave expelled Zhao Jianfeng, Liu Shang, and the others; Mu Lingze then took them away.
  • Pei Qin dismissed Fang Wentian’s fears and insisted Qin Guan would be fine, while the Heaven’s Will Merchant Association president told a white-robed Divine Son that Qin Guan might have obtained Divine Ash Mountain’s inheritance.

Ch. 1121A False Alarm

  • Lei Fang reported that the Heaven's Will Merchant Association had uncovered no record of Qin Guan's origins, and Ji Boxiong suspected Qin Guan held the Divine Ash Mountain inheritance.
  • Ji Boxiong warned Lei Fang not to covet Qin Guan's possible Qi Yuan Civilization inheritance because the Mandate Temple and Divine Son Bei You were too powerful to provoke.
  • The eight disciples who had betrayed Azure Cloud Peak begged Mu Lingze for forgiveness after being ostracized there, but Zhao Jianfeng and the others drove them away.
  • Mu Lingze appeared and declared that she would strip the eight disciples of their cultivation, then restrained them and sent energy toward their dantians.
  • The Internal Affairs Elder arrived with two Confucian Sect men and urgently called for Mu Lingze to stop.

Ch. 1122Missing Repeatedly

Meanwhile, the real Qin Guan left the Primordial Tower to visit Bai Fuzi, and Bei You arrived at the Divine Sword Sect only to learn Qin Guan had been taken by the Confucian Sect.

Lin Suisui killed four elders sent to capture him, but seven days later Bei You learned that the Qin Guan taken away by the Confucian Sect was not the real one and questioned which Qin Guan was genuine.

  • Lin Suisui explained that Qin Guan needed to obtain and master the complete Primordial Heaven and Earth Principles, then strengthen his physical body and Sword Dao.
  • The Heaven's Will Merchant Association delayed handing over Qin Guan's points and resources, so Qin Guan left with Lin Suisui and said he would return later.
  • Qin Guan publicly renounced the Divine Sword Sect and insulted its members, while secretly warning them that the Mandate Temple was watching him.
  • Ji Boxiong ordered four black-robed elders to capture Qin Guan, but Lin Suisui escaped their formation, disguised herself as a Confucian scholar, and killed them before taking Qin Guan away.

  • Lin Suisui urged Qin Guan to let the Confucian Sect and Mandate Temple fight while he cultivated, and promised to secretly take him to the Primordial Dojo.

Ch. 1129Asking for the Person Again

Lin Suisui urged Qin Guan to befriend the lonely Primordial Tower, while the Mandate Temple decided to pressure the Confucian Sect and prepare to seize Qin Guan. Elder Liu and Elder Zhang confronted Lu Tian, accusing the Confucian Sect of killing four elders, but Lu Tian denied the charge and insisted Qin Guan was not there.
