Early the next morning, after a simple breakfast, the Winterfell cavalrymen went out again to look for Arya and gather some information along the way.

Edd had gone out to buy the day's ingredients, while Robb sat at the shop entrance, scanning left and right as he watched what was happening in Cobbler's Square.

The intelligence post Varys had established was in a very good location. From the shop entrance, Robb could see all four entrances to Cobbler's Square.

Robb kept his eyes moving, and his mind was just as busy. He had been rehearsing the next steps of their plan in his head.

If Varys agreed, that would be the best and easiest option. If he refused, Robb would have no choice but to follow the plan he had prepared in advance.

People came and went through Cobbler's Square. No one would have guessed that someone sitting outside an ordinary shop was planning to break into the Red Keep and the Black Cells.

Robb smiled broadly, lowered his head, and greeted them respectfully. After giving him a glance, they arrogantly ignored his greeting and continued their patrol without changing expression.

The sun slowly moved from the east toward the middle of the sky. Edd had long since returned with the ingredients.

The Winterfell cavalrymen, whom Robb had instructed to return for lunch on time, also came back one after another.

Many hands made light work. A dozen or so people split up the task: one carried vegetables, another bread, and another meat. Before long, they had brought the prepared meal to the shop's long table.
