The Battle of the Bottom-Tier Titled Douluos

Dugu Yan and Xue Ke arrived at Dugu Bo's residence. The moment they entered, they saw Dugu Bo sitting cross-legged on his bed, his complexion slightly pale.

With that, Porcupinefish Douluo released the exact same soul ring configuration as Dugu Bo. His seventh soul ring lit up, and he attacked immediately.

His third soul ring lit up, and the monster he had transformed into opened its huge mouth and inhaled fiercely, swallowing the jade-green light in its entirety. A faint glow lit up around his body, converting Dugu Bo's highly toxic jade-green light into attack power.

From Porcupinefish Douluo's enormous mouth erupted a streak of jade-green light even more powerful than Dugu Bo's. The light gathered into a huge green sphere, shrouded in poisonous mist, and shot toward Dugu Bo with a whoosh.

"Medusa's Gaze!" The eyes of the Jade Phosphorous Serpent Emperor Dugu Bo had transformed into turned white, firing two deathly pale beams that collided with the green sphere.

A burst of dazzling light flashed above Sunset Forest. The soul beasts and plants below were caught in the aftermath and instantly melted into pools of pus. Everything within ten miles was cleared away.

"Cough, cough, cough..." Blood seeped from the corner of Dugu Bo's mouth as he thought, This guy truly is my nemesis.

Dugu Yan and Xue Ke were drawn over by the commotion. Xue Ke in particular was extremely curious which Titled Douluo bigshot was here having a pathetic squabble with Dugu Bo.

"Didn't I tell you to stay put? Why did you come over here?" Dugu Bo looked at the two disobedient brats below, his head aching.

"Dugu Grandpa, Sister Yan and I were worried about you." Xue Ke stuck out her tongue sheepishly, then looked toward Porcupinefish Douluo in the distance.

Porcupinefish Douluo looked over as well. Seeing that Xue Ke was safe and seemed rather familiar with Dugu Bo, he relaxed and decided to return and report to Qian Renxue.

"Old Poison, we'll leave it at this for today. I'll come loosen up your muscles another day." Porcupinefish Douluo gave Dugu Bo a provocative look before flying away from Sunset Forest.

Dugu Bo immediately breathed a sigh of relief. If Porcupinefish Douluo had kept pressing him, he really would not have been able to beat him.

"Grandpa, are you all right? Who was that person? He actually managed to injure you," Dugu Yan asked.

Dugu Bo glanced at Xue Ke in confusion and said, "He was Spirit Hall's Porcupinefish Douluo. It seems he came looking for little girl Xue Ke."

"Me?" Xue Ke pointed at herself, looking very surprised.

"Qian Renxue was probably afraid something would happen to me while I was here with Dugu Bo, so she sent Porcupinefish Douluo to investigate the situation." Xue Ke immediately understood the whole story.
