Bibi Dong was born in a dilapidated village and spent her early childhood wandering with her parents, who were considered Evil Soul Masters. After Martial Soul Hall captured and executed them, she was placed in one of its orphanages. Her awakening at age six brought her to the attention of Pope Qian Xunji 76.

As Qian Xunji's disciple, she received extensive instruction but lived under strict control. She initially regarded his possessiveness as care and respected him as a father figure. Seeking contact with the outside world, she met Yu Xiaogang in Martial Soul Hall's library.
