The Taotie Civilization's creed was conquest and slaughter. In the past, they had crushed dozens of civilizations in just three thousand years, including one Aerospace-Class civilization. Now, with the help of Death God Karl, they were even stronger than before. But when faced with Earth, a Pre-Nuclear Civilization, they were completely at a loss.

The Lieyang Civilization was, after all, subordinate to the Shenhe Civilization. That was one reason it had never been able to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Angel Civilization. So they had to show Su Xinghe, a prince of the Shenhe Civilization and the future Main God, every courtesy.

A few sets of resources for Third Generation Super Soldiers and Third Generation God Bodies were a drop in the ocean for them. The resources for a Fourth Generation God Body, though, were another matter. They had plenty of standard resources, but upgrading to a Fourth Generation God Body required a special material in addition to the usual god-body upgrade resources. The entire Lieyang Civilization had only three portions of it.

"Don't bother looking. You don't have the technology for this yet. Even if you develop it, it'll take eight hundred to a thousand years. By then, can't you just find another portion?" He Xi waved a hand dismissively. The angels had plenty of the stuff. They could make at least nine Sacred Bodies at once without any trouble. And a Sacred Body required three times the resources of a standard Fourth Generation God Body—that showed just how wealthy the Angel Civilization was.

But He Xi knew that Su Xinghe's god body wasn't ordinary, either. It required even more resources than a Sacred Body. Angel Yan would need an upgrade later, too. Asking for resources now was a chance for her to set a good example of frugality on behalf of the Angel Civilization. They could take some resources from Lieyang now and get another portion from Death God Karl later. With the angels contributing enough resources for one Sacred Body, they'd have enough for one Sacred Body and two standard Fourth Generation God Bodies.
