She unleashed all the resentment in her heart in one go.
"I, I..."
Rose looked at Ge Xiaolun, who stood before her, somewhat bewildered by her scolding.
For some reason, she felt incredibly refreshed, as if this was something she was destined to do.
This feeling of relief brought a faint blush to Rose's cheeks.
Ever since she learned that Earth would face an interstellar invasion, Rose, who had been educated with patriotic ideals since childhood by Dukao.
Felt a suffocating pressure in her heart. She was the top female soldier in the army, proficient with all military weapons, aircraft, tanks, and self-propelled artillery!
Sniping, stealth, decapitation strikes – she was skilled in everything. However, Rose was, after all, just a young woman barely out of her teens.
People always fear the unknown. Even though she knew from a young age that aliens existed in outer space.
Even knowing she would face a war to Protect the Earth in the future, even willing to give everything for it, to protect the land she loved.
Rose's heart had been filled with a vague unease. She didn't know if she could protect everything she wanted to protect, didn't know if the wormholes and flying daggers she'd played with since childhood could safeguard her beloved.
And upon learning that war was inevitable, knowing her teammates were a group of people who had never received any training.
They were merely supervisors on a list, or rather, a motley crew.
Rose's unease had been growing.
Until Ashe's sudden appearance, her immense power, decisive combat abilities, and vast future potential.
It could be said that Rose's heart finally had at least one person she could trust and rely on.
But that was only up to this point.
Rose's heart still desperately wished for training to begin soon, hoping to prove her strength.
Hoping to truly Protect the Earth.
This was also why, when Ajie used her and Ashe to trick Ge Xiaolun into joining Super Seminary.
She hadn't reacted at all, only offering a few verbal taunts.
Because Dukao had emphasized that Ge Xiaolun was very important, one of the key targets.
So, for the country, for China, she, Rose, could endure, could accept, and take it slow. What if she, Rose, had misjudged him?
Otherwise, in any other situation, if someone dared to stare at Rose like that.
Even if she didn't resort to physical violence, Rose wouldn't let him off easily.
And now, after discussing the plan with Ashe.
During this conversation with Ge Xiaolun, perhaps Ashe's appearance had brought about a change in Rose. Rose couldn't hold back any longer.
She used the method of admonishing Ge Xiaolun to vent her confusion and insecurity.
This feeling was truly wonderful!
Rose felt like her true self at this moment.
"You like me! I don't like you!
Ajie promised you! Go find Ajie!
Have him live next door to you, have him give you one-on-one tutoring, it was all his promise! Don't bother me!"
Ge Xiaolun, who had heard Rose's scolding word for word, wanted to explain.
He even wanted to shout, "You guys told me to come! You guys set the conditions!"
"And now you're scolding me! What right do you have!"
Unfortunately, due to his personality, Ge Xiaolun swallowed his words.
Even listening to Rose, Ge Xiaolun genuinely began to reflect, wondering if it truly was all his fault.
Instead of roaring like in the original story, getting a few words of comfort from Rose, and then reluctantly staying at Super Seminary with lingering hopes. He was truly contemplating now.
So, Ge Xiaolun swallowed again and repeated.
"I, I..." He wanted to explain something, but ultimately said nothing.
The atmosphere between Rose and Ge Xiaolun became tense.
If Ashe were here now, she wouldn't be surprised by their conversation and behavior.
Because this was the most realistic portrayal of their personalities clashing, not like in the original story where Rose would endure, Ge Xiaolun would scratch his head, and it would all be vaguely resolved.
After all, the Angels, who participated in the creation of the Power of the Galaxy, infused it with all their expectations of men: gentleness, kindness, universal love, and friendliness.
Unfortunately, they omitted the ambition that men should have. The un-matured Ge Xiaolun would only be like this, possessing a heart of justice but acting sluggishly and hesitantly.
And the space-time genes jointly designed by Morgana and Karl naturally carried their personalities.
Seeking knowledge, self-reliant, loves freedom and unrestraint, has clear goals yet is quite persistent, determined to achieve what she desires.
One could say she is a miniature version of Karl and Morgana.
The personality traits of the two are also a reflection of their creators' thoughts and philosophies.
They exchanged glances but quickly looked away.
Gazing at Ge Xiaolun, who had his head down, Rose, after her excitement, returned to her usual cold and serious demeanor.
"Forget it, I said too much."
"It's normal for you to have those thoughts, no matter why you came here."
"Whether it's for me or for my roommate Ashe, I still hope you can stay! After all, Earth needs every bit of strength right now!"
"Perhaps you don't know why I got so agitated! But if you knew what kind of enemies we are about to face, you would understand!"
She persuaded him in a low voice, looking at Ge Xiaolun, who had already raised his head.
A key appeared out of thin air in Rose's hand, and she threw it to Ge Xiaolun.
"This is the key to your dorm. Meet in the classroom at 8:00 PM tonight. Whether you stay or go then will be your own decision."
She turned to leave but paused, adding a couple more sentences after some thought.
"If you really want the girl you like to like you, you must at least have the courage to pursue her boldly, as well as the determination to take responsibility and work hard for it."
"Also, a debt must be paid to its rightful owner! You know who misled you!"
"Regardless, if you're truly angry, at least know who to hold accountable."
"He'll be here soon. If you want to settle this score, call this number!"
"This is my real contact information!"
"The previous one was fake!"
Looking at Ge Xiaolun, she caught the business card that appeared out of nowhere.
Rose waved her hand and left directly.
After all, Rose hadn't followed the script she and Ashe had originally planned.
She didn't know what Ge Xiaolun would do, so she could only add a couple of final remarks, which was at least a way to not let Ashe down.
Ge Xiaolun stared intently at Rose's departing figure.
He lowered his head to look at the business card in his hand and took out his phone from his pocket.
Comparing it with the phone number for Rose he had saved, he suddenly clenched his fist.
Ge Xiaolun gritted his teeth. It was all fake! Did they take him for a pushover!
