Background / History

Rose was brought into the effort to observe Ashe alongside Ajie. Though initially indifferent to the assignment and skeptical of Ajie, she accepted his judgment that Ashe’s responsibility and sense of justice made her worth recruiting. 6

When Ashe detected the hidden Morgana at the police station, Rose instinctively prepared to evade through a wormhole and later confronted Morgana over her identity and intentions on Earth. She remained ready to attack when Morgana bound Ajie, acting out of loyalty to her companions. 7 8

Rose formally approached Ashe about joining the organization defending Huaxia from an impending alien invasion. Ashe’s demands for priority access to resources confused Rose, but Ashe’s lightning and weapon demonstration established her value as a Super Soldier. 11 12 During a subsequent unarmed spar, Ashe defeated Rose, leaving Rose frustrated and resentful. 13

When meeting Ge Xiaolun, Rose directly dismantled his expectations of living beside her and Ashe or receiving personal tutoring. She explained the seriousness of Super Seminary’s purpose, urged him to consider why he possessed superpowers, and gave him the choice of whether to remain. 44 45 Rose also gave him her real contact information and directed his anger toward Ajie, who had misled him. 45
