"Human Federation?"
On the throne, Keisha searched the Sacred Knowledge Treasury.
Once she confirmed this was a civilization that had never appeared before, her expression immediately turned solemn.
She remembered Angel Yan mentioning earlier that hundreds of Star Systems in a certain region of the Milky Way had undergone simultaneous anomalies.
In Keisha's understanding, the only way hundreds of stars could all show unusual activity at once was if a Celestial Computer was directing them.
Apart from the Demons, Keisha couldn't think of any civilization capable of such a thing.
If it really was the Demons, that would mean Morgana had not only completed her recovery, but had also quickly rebuilt the strength of the Demon Legion to pull this off.
And for the Demons to do this, it was clearly impossible with that bitch Morgana alone. Someone would have to be helping her.
Keisha immediately thought of the Styx Civilization.
The Angel Civilization's Order of Justice was at its zenith, and even if the Demons and the Styx Civilization really joined forces, she wouldn't fear them in the least.
But she couldn't rule out the possibility of something going wrong.
To be safe, Keisha made her decision:
"Inform Heavenly King Hexi of the situation."
"Leng, lead a team to the Milky Way at once. Find out as much as you can about what's happening there. If you encounter the Demons, don't act rashly."
"Yes, Queen." Another Senior Guard Angel, Leng, acknowledged the order.
"Also, we need to keep an eye on the Taotie Fleet's invasion of Earth. Zhixin, go convey the Angel Civilization's will to Death God Karl. Tell the civilizations under his command to behave themselves." Keisha's voice was cool and clear.
"The Angels' justice will not tolerate wars of aggression by the strong against the weak."
"Yes."
Solar System, Planet Earth.
Super Seminary.
Inside a monitoring room, precision instruments hummed as screens flickered with light.
"Deno Three has sent feedback. A region of the Milky Way is experiencing unusual activity, more than a thousand light-years from Earth."
"A God-level Civilization may be operating there..."
When Lian Feng received Yu Qin's alert, she furrowed her brows.
"Will it affect Earth?"
"We can't be sure yet..." Yu Qin shook her head.
Lian Feng was deeply worried.
The Taotie Fleet had already reached the vicinity of Pluto through Great Worm Bridge Station and conducted its first show of force against Earth.
Xiong Bing Lian had only just been formed and was not yet combat-ready.
If something unusual happened in the Milky Way at a time like this and spread to Earth, they might have no way to defend themselves.
"Report this to General Ducao at once."
"Yes..." Yu Qin was about to act when her pretty face suddenly changed.
"Report: Deno Three has received a mysterious message. It appears to be some kind of military warning!"
"What?" Lian Feng froze.
"The other side calls itself the 'Human Federation.' They claim that all property in the Solar System, including everything on Planet Earth, belongs to them." Yu Qin's voice wavered noticeably.
"They're ordering every government on Earth to immediately disarm on behalf of Earth Civilization and wait for their fleet to arrive and take control of the Solar System. If we resist, they'll carry out a mass purge!"
"Human Federation?" Lian Feng was baffled.
Where had this force or civilization come from?
Take control of the Solar System and Earth?
What an arrogant claim. Was this another invader?
As Lian Feng puzzled over it, Yu Qin continued, her expression shifting.
"This message wasn't sent to us. It was... broadcast to all of Earth Civilization!"
"Deno Three shows that every communications channel on Earth has received the message without exception!"
"The message came from—"
"The Tianjin Star System, the region where the anomalies appeared!"
Lian Feng's pupils contracted. She hurriedly looked over and realized the situation was dire.
In an instant, all of Earth Civilization was shaken.
Websites and news channels scrambled to report the message:
"This is a transmission from outer space. A mysterious alien civilization calling itself the 'Human Federation' has issued a warning to all of Earth."
"They intend to take control of Earth and even the entire Solar System, and have made their military threat unmistakably clear."
"If this message is genuine, an alien fleet may invade Earth in the near future. Governments around the world have issued statements saying they will prepare for war and guard against the worst..."
As reports flooded in, panic spread across the entire planet.
Still, some people were skeptical.
"Whoa, the Human Federation? Which alien civilization is this now... Why does it sound like something made up for a sci-fi movie?"
Zhao Xin said dubiously, "Besides the humans on Earth, are there really other human civilizations in this universe?"
Beside him, Lena rolled her eyes. "If you broaden the meaning of 'human,' it's really just an extension of the concept of God River Body life."
"The universe is vast. You Earthlings aren't the only God River Body life-forms."
"For example, people from the Lieyang Civilization look pretty much the same as you humans, don't they?"
"Just call themselves humans instead..." Ge Xiaolun summed it up neatly, though he was also rather curious.
"I heard you say that life in the Known Universe is mainly divided into God River Bodies, Beast Bodies, Triangle Bodies, and so on."
"Super Seminary was founded to protect civilizations of God River Body life, which is why you came to help protect Earth."
"If the Human Federation calls itself human, doesn't that make them our allies?"
"Didn't you say Earth is being invaded by the Beast Body life-form Taotie Civilization? Why isn't this Human Federation coming to fight the Taotie with us? Why threaten us instead?"
Lena furrowed her brows. She was just as confused, and could only shake her head.
"How would I know... This so-called Human Federation is new to me, too."
"It's true that Super Seminary was established to protect the hard-won civilizations of God River Body life, but that doesn't mean every such civilization has to follow Super Seminary's arrangements."
"Our Lieyang Civilization came to help you out of friendship. This Human Federation has come with hostile intentions, so it's probably an enemy of Earth."
"There's no written rule in the Known Universe that says God River Body life-forms can't kill other God River Body life-forms."
Qi Lin wiped down her sniper rifle. After hearing them out, she began to ponder the matter, her brows knitting together.
"So Earth is facing invasions from two alien civilizations now."
"How are we supposed to fight this?"
The others immediately felt the pressure mount.
With the Taotie Fleet and the Human Federation both coming for them, could a handful of raw recruits like them, thrown together into Xiong Bing Lian, really protect Earth Civilization?
None of them felt confident.
"Hey, why worry about that? We've got leaders, don't we?" Liu Chuang said unconcernedly.
"Just follow orders."
"Didn't they say the Super Genes in our bodies let us fly through the sky and tunnel through the earth, even destroy the heavens and the earth?"
"Whatever kind of fleet it is, we'll just fight them when they get here."
Lena's mouth twitched. For a moment, she wasn't sure what to think either.
The Taotie Fleet was manageable. With Super Seminary leading the way, they could just about handle a mere Spaceflight-level Civilization.
But this newly emerged Human Federation was a much trickier problem.
After all, neither Super Seminary nor the Lieyang Civilization knew anything about them.
The unknown was the most frightening.
