Background

The Human Federation arrives in the Super God Universe with 500 of its star systems intact. In its previous universe, it had occupied almost half of that universe's Milky Way; the rest of its territory does not make the transition. Its initial survey finds that most civilizations in the new Milky Way have not achieved faster-than-light travel 1.

The Federation treats conquest of the galaxy as its manifest destiny. Its 150 fleets begin an expedition to occupy star systems and eliminate native civilizations, while new ships, colonies, and industry are planned to support expansion 5 12 13.

Major Developments

• Solar System occupied: The Federation destroys the Taotie Fleet, eliminates Earth's native civilization, and establishes a stellar outpost in the Solar System 5 12.
• Expansion accelerates: The Federation occupies part of the Orion Arm and adopts the Gray Gu Storm tactic to shorten its planned century-long conquest 29.
• Galactic center investigated: After an anomalous spacetime effect appears near the central black hole, Chen Yu orders scout fleets to investigate the shrouded region 25.
• Local Group becomes a concern: Fighting between Cyberlex and the Purification Protocol in the Andromeda Nebula raises the possibility that their war could spread to the Milky Way 35 37.
• Federation territory grows: By the time Chen Yu initiates the Spacetime Acceleration Protocol, the Federation holds 23,198 star systems, with nearly half of the Orion Arm described as its core territory 47.
• Mottled Blue Galactic Empire attacked: The Federation assaults this Triangle Body civilization after learning it may know a passage into the Milky Way's central starfield 48 49.
