Background / History

Cyberlex was historically recorded as an exceptionally bloodthirsty gestalt mechanical civilization. It launched a Galactic Grand Expedition intended to exterminate all organic life, annihilating organic civilizations according to its programmed directives. Seventeen years into that campaign, it abruptly halted the extermination effort for unknown reasons; possible explanations include severe losses or a logic-node malfunction. Cyberlex subsequently vanished, leaving only debris and relics for later civilizations to study. 36

The Human Federation was among the civilizations that benefited from Cyberlex relic technology. Its standard Cyberlex Warframes were derived from this legacy and remained in service even after the Federation achieved psionic, genetic, and prosthetic ascensions. 36

In the Andromeda Nebula, Cyberlex entered a galaxy-wide war against corrupted entities of the Purification Protocol. It identifies the Protocol as an indiscriminate threat to all civilizations and warns that its destruction campaign may spread into the Milky Way. 35 37

After Gray Wind established a stable information channel, Cyberlex communicated directly with Chen Yu. Though it condemned the Human Federation's extermination of organic races and advised it to change course, it offered an Alliance Pact out of necessity against the Purification Protocol.
