Background / History

About thirty years before the Federation’s arrival in the new Milky Way, Chen Yu transmigrated into the Human Federation of the Starry Universe and became its newly appointed Grand Marshal. At the time, the Federation descended from colonists who had survived aboard the Autumn Chrysanthemum, settled United Star, and built a unified regime after humanity’s departure from Earth. 1

He inherited command during a period when the Federation was surrounded by hostile civilizations and close to subjugation by a godlike power. In that crisis, Chen Yu awakened the Civilization Template System, leading the Federation’s counteroffensive and its rapid development through Psionics, genetic enhancement, and prosthetic augmentation. 1

The Federation exchanged its civilization’s ultimate fate for fifty years of accelerated development and star-sea hegemony. Chen Yu intended to answer the approaching deadline by erecting the Aether Phase Engine, an act that would make it possible to end the universe if activated. Before that plan could be completed, the entire Federation transmigrated again into the Super God Universe. 1

In the new universe, Chen Yu identified the Milky Way as comparatively weak and populated largely by pre-FTL civilizations. He directed the Federation’s conquest of the region, beginning with the Solar System and expanding into a galaxy-wide expedition. 1 5 12

Second Transmigration and Milky Way Conquest

Chen Yu discovers that the Human Federation has transmigrated into a different Milky Way, retaining only 500 star systems and losing contact with the rest of its former territory. Assessing the local civilizations as weak, he begins rebuilding Federation strategic control and launches the Galactic Grand Expedition. 1 5

He commands the First Federal Fleet in the Solar System, orders the Taotie Fleet annihilated, and begins the occupation of Earth. Conflict with Angel, Demon, and Lieyang Civilizations

Chen Yu personally confronts the captured Angels Yan and Zhui, rejects their divine claims, and imposes permanent imprisonment pending compensation. His Federation later expands its hostility toward Angel Civilization and deploys Federation superweapons against the Angel Nebula. 3 25 32

Hunter Crisis

After the Gonggong becomes trapped near the Hou Shen Galaxy, Chen Yu witnesses the arrival of the Hunter, a super-quasar lifeform more than twenty light-years in diameter that extinguishes entire galaxies.
