On the Giant Gorge Ship, Ge Xiaolun, Liu Chuang, and the others were doing their daily sparring drills. They poured sweat into the ground, all so they would bleed less on the battlefield.

It had been a month since Yi Chen left. During that month, the members of Xiong Bing Lian had grown considerably and experienced quite a few battles, large and small. Apart from a few exceptions, the rest were now qualified soldiers.

That day, the members of Xiong Bing Lian received another mission. They headed to the conference room to discuss their battle plan.

"Hey, hey, Monkey Brother, what do you think it is this time?" Liu Chuang asked Sun Wukong. His admiration for Sun Wukong was even stronger than before. At first, Sun Wukong had been his childhood idol; now, he was his comrade-in-arms.

"How would I know? Ask Du Kao when we get there," Sun Wukong said.

The members of Xiong Bing Lian had all arrived and were gathered around a desk. Before long, Du Kao and Ling Feng entered the office with a man in a military uniform.

Countless Taotie warships were gathered here. An advance force, made up of a Vanguard Flagship, ten Firepower Ships, and countless aircraft, had begun its approach to Earth.

Aboard the flagship, Wind Thunder, the commander of the operation, was discussing battle plans with his subordinates Xiong Lu, Jing E, and Ting Feng.

All four were encased in blue-and-white armor, with only their consciousnesses remaining. They were what they called Void Warriors, blessed by Death God Karl.

"My opinion hasn't changed: we should fight at low altitude. Nuclear weapons pose a serious threat to us, but they're a planet that was once part of the Divine River Civilization. They hold life in high regard and won't drop nuclear bombs on their own cities," Xiong Lu said.

"I agree. Fighting at low altitude is risky, but it's better than being bombarded by nuclear weapons from high above.

"Still, Ming Chuan was killed on Planet Earth. And according to the information from My God Karl, there are many beings on Earth who are far beyond the Pre-Nuclear Civilization stage. Some of them may even surpass us in strength. One of them is called Galaxy Power. According to the records, he has an Undefeated Body. If we encounter him, we should avoid direct confrontation if possible. Besides Galaxy Power, I've heard that Di Lena of the Blazing Sun Civilization is also on Earth. Earth is like a hot commodity now. Every civilization wants a piece of it. But for My God Karl, we fear no sacrifice."

The sun sank toward the horizon, and night was about to fall. A pale crescent moon and a few scattered stars were already visible in the sky.

There were artificial suns in the Angel Nebula, but that didn't mean every planet was locked in endless daylight. The cycle of day and night often made for a better experience.

"Kid, I'll be away for a while starting tomorrow."

"The Queen wants me to go with her to Earth. Apparently, she has some news about Morgana."

With her arms wrapped around her knees, Yan spoke to Yi Chen beside her. Her voice was so soft it was almost inaudible. If not for his Divine Body, Yi Chen might not have heard her at all.

"Morgana? The Queen of Demons? Why would she show up on Earth? There shouldn't be anything there that the demons would care about..." Yi Chen said. He often heard Yan talk about Morgana and the demons. They were incredibly cunning and wouldn't reveal themselves without a good reason, since doing so would bring the angels after them.

"Heh, kid, I heard the Queen say Morgana got some help from Carl this time. Otherwise, she wouldn't have dared to come out so brazenly. She must have something to back her up. And the first thing she did after coming out was head for Earth, so she must have something planned. Starting tomorrow, I'll be going to Earth with the Queen to 'judge the demons.' It'll probably take a while. You have to stay here and behave on your own. Don't forget your training. And remember to miss me, kid!"

As Yan spoke, she winked at Yi Chen. He seemed to pretend he hadn't noticed. He wasn't completely immune to her teasing, but he could ignore it when it was only this much. There was one thing, though, that mattered a lot to him.
