Chapter 17: Their Justice
Above the South Sea Fleet, the once calm sky suddenly churned with wind and clouds.
When everything settled, several figures appeared in the sky. They were sacred and pure, as if untouched by mortal affairs. Without a doubt, they were angels of the Angel Civilization, and among them was the strongest being in the known universe—the Angel King, Holy Kaisha.
"Oh? Isn't this the war maniac Du Kao? Seeing you makes everything clear." Kaisha spoke from her throne, her demeanor lofty and off-putting. Around her were over a dozen High-Level Angels, including Yan. This force alone could destroy any low-level civilization.
"You are Holy Kaisha. What are you doing on Earth?" Du Kao called out from the deck of the Giant Gorge Ship, facing Kaisha in the sky. Behind him, the members of Xiong Bing Lian frowned at the intruders above.
"Give me a minute to read Earth." Ignoring Du Kao's question, Kaisha activated the Scouting Eye and began gathering information on Earth.
"Hmm... a rather beautiful world..."
"Ah? Wars everywhere. The entire history is war... war... war, death... death... death. No wonder Death God Karl is interested in you."
"Didn't you come here for war?" Du Kao couldn't help but retort at Kaisha's interpretation of Earth.
"Come for war? Overestimating yourselves, aren't you? We don't need to waste time with war games with you." Kaisha chuckled lightly, her tone dripping with disdain.
"My Queen, Morgana's exact location has been captured, though it's uncertain if she has upgraded to a Fourth Generation Divine Body. If we execute a full-power Heavenly Blade Judgment now, we might be able to defeat Morgana again, but it could harm Earth's inhabitants." Yan reported. From the moment they entered the Milky Way galaxy, she had been using Kaisha's Knowledge Repository to locate Morgana, and she had just obtained the precise result.
"Hmm, we can let Earth choose for itself." Kaisha looked at the Xiong Bing Lian members with interest.
"Prepare!"
Yan nodded and flew toward the edge of the atmosphere, stopping only at the equator's periphery. She raised her holy sword, and visible energy began converging into the Sword of Flames in her hand. The powerful energy fluctuations inspired fear—this was the angels' way of executing justice: the Justice Judgment.
"Stop! Stop! Stop!" Du Kao shouted angrily from the deck.
"You cannot stop the angels' judgment against demons, nor should you." Kaisha replied with a light laugh, her tone utterly calm in the face of Du Kao's roar.
"This is Earth, home to countless innocent people. Stop..." Du Kao continued, his voice shifting from anger to a heavy weight, like a beast gathering its strength.
"Earth will handle it itself."
"Heh, handle it itself? With what? Xiong Bing Lian? The Power of the Galaxy? Don't be foolish. You don't have the capability."
"As the greatest evil in the known universe, it is the angels' duty to eliminate Morgana. If Earth could do it itself, we angels would gladly sit back and enjoy the results. But unfortunately, you cannot."
"Alright, end of conversation, Du Kao."
"This is Earth, not a place for you to run wild..."
Outside Planet Earth
Yan raised the Sword of Flames high. The blade was wrapped in flame-like energy, and the surrounding temperature rose steadily, as if gathering earth-shattering power.
"My Queen, Morgana's position has been locked above Juxia City. However, if we release the Heavenly Blade Judgment now, millions of lives in Earth's civilization will be lost." Yan reported. Her hair danced wildly in the intense energy fluctuations. At this moment, she seemed to have returned to her days as the Thunder War God, slashing through demon ranks. The judgment blade in her hand appeared capable of shattering all darkness.
"Hmm."
"Ge Xiaolun, as the future Main God of Earth, decide quickly."
"Xiaolun, don't agree to her." Before Ge Xiaolun could respond, Du Kao hurriedly interjected.
On the Giant Gorge Ship, Ge Xiaolun was momentarily stunned at being called out. As he snapped back to reality, Du Kao's communicator suddenly rang.
"Commander, this is Du Kao."
"Xiao Du, this is the highest directive from Central Command: No matter whether war comes tomorrow, whether death comes, whether the end comes, the people's army will never betray the people, never trade the people's lives. We will face it together, through thick and thin."
"Understood. Resolutely execute the highest command."
A glint of determination flashed in Du Kao's eyes. He turned to look at the Xiong Bing Lian members. Seeing no fear in their expressions, he nodded silently, then looked up at the sky, at the strongest being in the known universe.
"Xiong Bing Lian, prepare for battle."
At the equator's periphery, the Sword of Flames in Yan's hand still blazed fiercely, its light illuminating her face. But her usually delicate features were now slightly furrowed.
"My Queen, their government and people are filled with justice in their hearts. They simply cannot perceive the angels' presence. Isn't this too cruel for them?"
"Yan, our justice stands at the height of the universe, while theirs stands at the height of ordinary life in a Pre-Nuclear Civilization. Heh, this world is right. They are worthy of the angels' protection." Kaisha replied to Yan's words, then looked down at the ground.
"Earth, prepare for utter catastrophe."
"Yan, cancel the Heavenly Blade Judgment. Let's go."
"Yes, my Queen."
Instantly, the sky churned with wind and clouds once more. When everything returned to calm, the angels had vanished from the sky. They came and went in haste, yet left an indelible impression.

After finishing a day of training, Yi Chen sat on a cliff's edge, facing an endless ocean. The evening afterglow reflected off his stern face, adding a touch of noble bearing.
"Host, according to the Divine River Calendar, today is the final deadline to accept the mission. If you still do not accept, the system will automatically cancel this mission, and its rewards will also be automatically forfeited. Additionally, no missions will be available for the next three months. Please make your decision." A mechanical voice rang in Yi Chen's mind.
"Accept it. It's time to start preparing." Yi Chen said, then stood up. Behind him, a Dark Forest had appeared, so deep and black that sunlight seemed unable to pierce its canopy, granting it not a sliver of light.
Yi Chen turned and walked slowly toward the Dark Forest, his figure quickly swallowed by the darkness.
