Background
Blue Star was periodically monitored by Angel A Zhui, who visited once every hundred years to inspect the development of its civilization and guard against demonic forces. During one such visit, the light carrying Ye Chen collided with A Zhui outside the planet; both fell through the atmosphere and crashed into a forested valley. 1
The Yanhuang Civilization System rewrote and encrypted Ye Chen's Dark Data after his arrival, causing outside observers to regard him as a native of Blue Star rather than an otherworldly arrival. 1 12
Appearance
Blue Star is repeatedly seen from space as an azure world, later known as Yanhuang Star after the Yanhuang Empire's global unification. 1 48 49
- Its surface includes forested mountain valleys, including the impact site of Ye Chen and A Zhui's arrival. 1
- Its atmosphere supports conventional aircraft and later manned spaceflight. 9 48
- From orbit, its blue arc is visible through the porthole of the Tenglong-1 spacecraft. 49
History
Rise of the Yanhuang Empire
Within a century of Ye Chen's arrival, Blue Star contained the Yanhuang Empire, ruled by Ye Chen from its capital, Xuanhuang City. A Zhui found the city orderly, prosperous, and paved with cement, judging Ye Chen a qualified emperor. 3
The empire's rapid industrialization brought railways, automobiles, aircraft, electrical technology, computers, atomic-energy research, and missile development to the planet. 9 10 18
Global War and Unification
Ye Chen launched a worldwide war of expansion, beginning with the San Andres Empire and later extending Yanhuang control across Africa, Europe, Huaxia, and the remaining powers of Blue Star. 23 25 40 42
The Qing Empire's fall completed the planet's political unification. Ye Chen subsequently moved the imperial capital from Xuanhuang City to Chang'an City to govern the newly unified world more effectively. 43 44
Entry into the Space Age
After unification, the Yanhuang Empire developed the Daylight Project, entering the Nuclear Energy Era, then launched satellites and its first manned spacecraft, Tenglong-1. 48
During Tenglong-1's orbital mission, astronaut Zhao Yunlei heard repeated knocking outside the spacecraft. Ye Chen investigated personally and captured the Purple Rat, an extraterrestrial detection robot that had circled Yanhuang Star and attempted to self-destruct after capture. 49 50
