"How did you find me?"

Uchiha Jin looked at Hanzō the Salamander and asked curiously.

The reason Uchiha Jin found Hanzō the Salamander's appearance only natural was because Hanzō the Salamander was the God of Shinobi!

His experience and methods were unfathomable. It was perfectly normal for him to discover Uchiha Jin's infiltration!

Yet Uchiha Jin knew that he had not left any traces during this infiltration. He had even learned from Deidara's failed experience and confirmed that crows lived in this region, so the appearance of a Ninja Crow would not seem out of place!

That was why Uchiha Jin was still somewhat startled that Hanzō the Salamander had discovered him!

"Poison!" Hanzō the Salamander showed no intention of concealing it and said calmly, "My residence is filled with all kinds of poisons, and leaks happen from time to time!"

"Even though they are cleaned up every time, some residue always remains! After enough incidents, those toxins seep into the soil!"

"So normally, not to mention birds, even insects will not approach the area around my residence!"

The toxins within Hanzō the Salamander's residence had not been created intentionally by him. In fact, even if Hanzō the Salamander wanted to purge them, it would be extremely difficult!

"I see!" Uchiha Jin nodded seriously and said, "It seems I was too hasty. I began infiltrating without properly observing the environment!"

"No matter. You will pay a profound price for this, one that you will remember for the rest of your life..." Hanzō the Salamander slightly raised his hand, paused, then continued, "For now, I shall call you a Konoha Uchiha ninja!"

The moment Hanzō the Salamander finished speaking, he vanished from where he stood!

"What a fast Body Flicker Technique!"

Watching Hanzō the Salamander appear before him and slash down with his blade, Uchiha Jin felt as though he were seeing another Minato Namikaze!

"But this slash wasn't aimed at a Vital Point. Does he want to capture me alive?"

Uchiha Jin lowered his center of gravity. His Eyes turned scarlet as Three Tomoe emerged within them! At the same time, he reached into his Waist Pouch, drew a Kunai, and steadily caught the blade of Hanzō the Salamander's Kusarigama!

With a light clang, Uchiha Jin clearly saw purple venom sliding down the blade of Hanzō the Salamander's Kusarigama!

"Sharingan?! It seems you truly are a ninja of the Uchiha Clan!"

Hanzō the Salamander looked somewhat surprised. He withdrew and put distance between himself and Uchiha Jin. The venom on his Kusarigama splashed onto the Sandy Ground, corroding one pit after another and sending up foul-smelling White Smoke!

Hanzō the Salamander did not continue his assault. Instead, he looked at Uchiha Jin suspiciously and asked, "Generally speaking, when carrying out infiltration missions, everyone removes Items that could reveal their identity as much as possible!"

"Uchiha brat, what are you trying to do by coming here so openly?"

Konoha and Iwagakure were currently confronting each other at the National Border within the Land of Rain.

By all rights, Hanzō the Salamander, as the master of the Land of Rain, should have been a force both Konoha and Iwagakure sought to win over!

Even if Konoha or Iwagakure wanted to do something, they would pin the blame on the other side!

So an overt infiltration like Uchiha Jin's, an act that might push him toward Iwagakure, was something Hanzō the Salamander truly could not understand!

After thinking for a moment, Uchiha Jin explained, "Don't misunderstand. I bear no ill will toward you or Amegakure! I came here to wait for someone!"

Hanzō the Salamander pressed, "Who?"

Uchiha Jin did not hide it and said directly, "Konoha's Hokage Assistant, Shimura Danzō!"

Hanzō the Salamander narrowed his eyes, but inwardly, he became even more puzzled!

Hanzō the Salamander was no stranger to the name Shimura Danzō. He had even dealt with Shimura Danzō several times!

Based on Hanzō the Salamander's understanding of Shimura Danzō, wherever that man appeared, nothing good could possibly be happening!

Hanzō the Salamander asked, "Why did you come to me if you are looking for Shimura Danzō?"

"That's a long story!" Uchiha Jin smiled. "Senior Hanzō, could we speak somewhere else?"

Although their exchange had ended the moment it began, the Chakra clash they unleashed had been enough to alert Others!

In Uchiha Jin's perception, a large number of guard ninjas were already rushing over!

Uchiha Jin could reveal his existence to Hanzō the Salamander, since Hanzō the Salamander had been someone he intended to contact from the start!

But Uchiha Jin could not reveal himself to the other Rain Ninja. Who knew whether those Rain Ninja were spies planted by other ninja villages!

With Hanzō the Salamander present, Uchiha Jin could not possibly kill every Rain Ninja who had seen him!

So they could only move somewhere quiet to continue talking!

However, Hanzō the Salamander misunderstood his meaning. Raising his Kusarigama, he said in a low voice, "Since you are unwilling to speak here, changing locations is fine!"

"I trust Amegakure's Torture Chamber will satisfy you!"

Before his words had even faded, Hanzō the Salamander vanished from his spot once more!

A cold flash of blade light swept past, slicing Uchiha Jin's body in two!

"Don't think you can escape!"

Hanzō the Salamander did not even look at Uchiha Jin's severed body. He spun around and hurled the Kusarigama in his hand toward a direction!

Uchiha Jin turned and knocked aside the incoming Kusarigama with his Kunai. Using the force, he flipped over the wall and darted into the distance!

Hanzō the Salamander gave a cold snort. His figure flickered as he chased in the direction Uchiha Jin had fled!

Moments later, more than a dozen figures dressed as Rain Ninja appeared in the courtyard!

"It's here! The disturbance came from here!"

"Hm? There are traces of Chakra on this broken Wooden Stake! It must have been the Substitution Technique!"

"Be Careful! It's Lord Hanzō's poison! Someone fought Lord Hanzō!"

These dozen or so people were all Elite Ninjas of Amegakure. Before long, they had roughly pieced together what had happened here from the traces left at the scene!

"Everyone, follow them! Remember not to get too close. Lord Hanzō's poison is extremely potent. We only need to follow from a distance!"

"Understood!"

Someone called out loudly, and the dozen or so people chased after Uchiha Jin in the direction he had gone!
