Uchiha Obito's eyes widened at those words, his eyebrows knotting together as he questioned, "What do you mean by that?"

Uchiha Jin said evenly, "The village's arrangements did have some problems, but with Minato's overwhelming strength as a guarantee, Minato's Team would normally have been perfectly safe!"

"So the suffering you went through really can't be blamed on Minato, who knew nothing!"

"If you want to blame someone, blame me, who knew everything yet let it unfold naturally; Uchiha Madara, who orchestrated everything from behind the scenes; and that existence which deceived Uchiha Madara!"

"You know Uchiha Madara?!" Uchiha Obito's pupils contracted as he cried out, "Wait! What do you mean when you say you know everything? And what do you mean by the existence that deceived Uchiha Madara?"

Uchiha Jin's words left Uchiha Obito frozen where he stood, a tempest raging in his heart!

The certainty in Uchiha Jin's tone left Uchiha Obito with no suspicion that he was merely trying to trick him!

Uchiha Obito had already been shocked that Uchiha Jin recognized him. Now that Uchiha Jin had even spoken of Uchiha Madara, he was utterly horrified!

Unable to contain his expression, Uchiha Obito gritted his teeth and asked, "What exactly is going on?"

Uchiha Jin did not beat around the bush and explained, "It's simple. Uchiha Madara had set his sights on you long ago!"

"Everything you experienced was not an accident. It was all carefully orchestrated by Uchiha Madara!"

"During your mission at Kannabi Bridge, Rin was captured by Iwagakure ninja. You and Kakashi went to rescue her, you awakened your eyes, and you were gravely wounded, left on the verge of death. All of it was part of Uchiha Madara's plan!"

"On the Kirigakure Battlefield, Rin was captured by Kirigakure and made into the Three-Tails Jinchuriki. She was rescued by Kakashi, pursued by Kirigakure Ninja, and then made to die by suicide before your eyes. That, too, was a grand performance Uchiha Madara staged for you!"

"Even Minato arriving one step too late every time was because he had been held back by all sorts of accidents created by Uchiha Madara!"

"You think Uchiha Madara finding you was a coincidence? No! He had been watching you for years!"

"Perhaps some old man or old woman you helped in Konoha was an Avatar of Uchiha Madara!"

"So even without the Third Shinobi World War, you might have gone through all of this again while leaving the village on a mission someday!"

"Impossible!" Uchiha Obito cried in disbelief, agitated. "How could something this complicated have all been meticulously arranged in advance?!"

"I don't believe it!"

Uchiha Obito's eyes were bloodshot, his eyeballs covered in red veins!

Although he had never fully trusted Uchiha Madara and had always maintained a degree of vigilance against him, he simply could not believe that everything had been carefully planned by Uchiha Madara!

In such a complicated situation, one wrong thought from a single person or one mistake in a single link would have caused the entire plan to collapse!

How could everything possibly have developed according to Uchiha Madara's will!

"That is what makes Uchiha Madara so formidable!" Uchiha Jin said solemnly. "Uchiha Madara has seen through the human heart. With just a little guidance, he can control events within the range he desires!"

"And don't forget that Uchiha Madara has things like White Zetsu under his command!"

"White Zetsu can almost perfectly transform into anyone!"

"As long as he replaces a few people with White Zetsu at several key points, Uchiha Madara can ensure that events do not go off course!"

"And that is enough!"

Uchiha Obito froze, recalling White Zetsu's abilities!

He had never considered things from that angle before and had only thought White Zetsu's abilities were astonishing. But with Uchiha Jin's reminder, he now noticed that something was wrong!

The very fact that he had encountered Uchiha Madara had been highly suspicious!

And coincidentally, Uchiha Madara, whose life was nearly exhausted at the time, had happened to be searching for a suitable successor!

Under Uchiha Obito's horrified gaze, Uchiha Jin's Three-Tomoe Sharingan spun rapidly, the tomoe joining into a single mass and transforming into a unique pattern!

It was a strange pattern composed of six small triangles surrounding a hexagon. It resembled a six-pointed star missing one ring, and also a simply drawn sun!

"Mangekyō Sharingan?!"

Uchiha Obito's eyes widened. He was somewhat surprised, yet not entirely surprised!

Uchiha Jin seemed never to have revealed the existence of this pair of Mangekyō Sharingan before, so their sudden appearance was indeed unexpected. But given Uchiha Jin's strength, possessing such eyes also seemed only natural!

Uchiha Jin's Mangekyō Sharingan appeared only briefly before reverting to the Three-Tomoe Sharingan. He continued, "My eye ability is called Kuni no Tokotachi. It can trace things back to their origins and reveal the future! It allows me to see many things that others cannot!"

"Long ago, I noticed that several unusual creatures were always following you. Later, I learned that they were White Zetsu!"

"Following those clues, I discovered Uchiha Madara's existence! And I saw his plan!"

"And you, Uchiha Obito, were a chess piece chosen by Uchiha Madara!"

"Everything about you has been under the watch of these eyes of mine!"

Uchiha Jin had indeed awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan, but he had made up the ability "Kuni no Tokotachi" as an excuse for his foresight.

Otherwise, there were many things he would have been unable to explain clearly!

He could hardly tell Uchiha Obito outright that he was a transmigrator!

So Uchiha Jin could only resort to this Plan B!

But fooling Uchiha Kenji should not be much of a problem!
