Arc 9The Battle of Kikyo Mountain

Konoha’s defenders faced a three-village assault at Kikyo Mountain while Uchiha Jin and Minato Namikaze fought to stop the allied advance. Konoha won the battle, but the war continued, and Hiruzen assigned Tenzo to reinforce the Land of River border as Danzō remained in Konoha.

  • Uchiha Jin repelled the Iwagakure vanguard, and Might Duy arrived in time to protect him until Konoha reinforcements reached Kikyo Mountain Fortress.
  • Nara Shikaku organized Konoha’s defenses against more than ten thousand allied troops, while the enemy leaders planned attacks against Minato Namikaze, Uzumaki Kushina, and Uchiha Jin.

Arc 10The Fourth Hokage Election

As Uchiha Jin secured the daimyo’s subsidy funds for the Uchiha Clan, Konoha’s leaders struggled over authority and the Fourth Hokage election. The meeting ended with Jin challenging the village’s founding ideals as Sarutobi Hiruzen’s accusations against Shimura Danzō exposed the Uchiha coup and past human experiments.

  • Sarutobi Hiruzen and the elders learned that the daimyo had directed the subsidy funds to the Uchiha Clan, while Uchiha Shisui had joined the Twelve Guardian Ninja.

Arc 11The Fourth Hokage Election

As Sarutobi Hiruzen and Shimura Danzō fought over the Hokage succession, Uchiha Jin maneuvered the Uchiha Clan between both sides and helped set the stage for Danzō’s coup. The election erupted into battle, and Jin revealed that the Uchiha Clan would now move against Danzō for stealing its Sharingan and secret techniques.

  • Sarutobi Hiruzen exposed Shimura Danzō’s continued human experiments, but Danzō and Orochimaru’s testimony left Hiruzen without conclusive proof.
