Uchiha Jin gathered leaders across the villages and revealed the Ōtsutsuki threat as the reason he sought to unite the Ninja World. While the alliance began preparing for war and the East Water West Transfer project, Jin and Obito confronted Shinno, whose Eight Gates technique overwhelmed Obito.

• Afei took Uchiha Jin through Mountain Cemetery to Madara’s old cavern and then led him to Uchiha Obito’s White Zetsu army.
• Jin ordered Obito to equip a battalion with new weapons and prepare to destroy Sky Ninja Village, while Yahiko and Konan arrived in Konoha and met Minato Namikaze.
• Jiraiya warned Yahiko that Konoha’s prosperity concealed political turmoil, as Sarutobi Hiruzen and the other elders considered how to counter rumors about their conduct.
• Jin brought leaders from Konoha, Sunagakure, and Amegakure together through chakra-linked rings, proposed unifying the Ninja World, and secured Sunagakure’s support.
• Jin revealed the Ōtsutsuki Clan’s history and the coming extraterrestrial threat, explained the origins of the Uchiha, Senju, and Hyuga clans, and outlined ways to fight the Ōtsutsuki.
• Jin asked the villages to recruit commanders for the White Zetsu army and set out the stages of the East Water West Transfer project, while exposing Doctor Shinno’s plans to create Zero-Tails.
• Jin and Obito waited until Shinno left the village, then ambushed him, but Shinno opened the Eight Gates and used his regenerative technique to keep Obito trapped in Kamui Space.

Uchiha Jin captured Konokuni’s Flying Fortress while Sarutobi Hiruzen and the elders plotted to reclaim power from Minato Namikaze. Their confrontation in the Hokage Office remained unresolved as Hiruzen decoded Minato’s secret message and headed toward his residence.

• Uchiha Jin and Uchiha Obito defeated Shinno, and Jin learned from Shinno’s memories about Konokuni’s hidden fortress and its plans for revenge.
• Uchiha Jin sent White Zetsu forces to destroy the fortress’s residents, sparing seven infants, then used Matatabi’s Chakra to power the Flying Fortress and launch it into the sky.
• Sarutobi Hiruzen gained the Fire Daimyo’s support and tried to rally Konoha’s clans against Minato Namikaze and Uchiha Jin, but Torifu Akimichi rejected him after questioning Kagami Uchiha’s death.
• Sarutobi Hiruzen, Mitokado Homura, and Utatane Koharu planned to regain power before Jin returned, considering an armed coup and the support of discontented Hyuga Clan elders.
• Minato Namikaze told Uzumaki Kushina that he and Jin had leaked information about Jin’s attacks to expose the elders’ efforts to seize power, and warned that they might attempt a coup.
• Sarutobi Hiruzen and the elders confronted Minato Namikaze in the Hokage Office over Jin’s alleged attacks, but Nara Shikaku challenged their evidence and Minato defended Jin’s mission.
• Sarutobi Hiruzen received new information during the confrontation and said the overall situation was decided, then learned that Minato’s coded message sent Hatake Kakashi to seek Nohara Rin’s help.
• Sarutobi Hiruzen deduced that Number Three meant Yakushi Nonō and turned toward Minato Namikaze’s residence.

Uchiha Jin’s forces defeated Sarutobi Hiruzen’s coalition while Hiashi Hyuga led a revolt against the Hyuga Main House and its Caged Bird Seal. With the victors debating how to punish the defeated clans, Jin turned their attention toward Kirigakure before it could recover.

• Sarutobi Hiruzen abducted a stand-in for Uzumaki Kushina and launched an assault on the Uchiha, but Minato Namikaze’s allies exposed the deception and Uchiha Jin’s forces overwhelmed Hiruzen’s army.
• Uchiha Jin killed Sarutobi Hiruzen after Hiruzen threatened him with Kushina, while Hizashi Hyuga defied the Main House elders and the Branch House rose against their control.
• Hiashi Hyuga revealed that he and Hizashi had swapped identities, condemned the Main House’s use of the Caged Bird Seal, and led the Branch House in killing the elders who resisted.
• Uchiha Jin’s side secured victory, and Minato Namikaze argued for sparing ordinary members of the Sarutobi, Utatane, and Mitokado clans while punishing their leaders and recovering stolen wealth.
• Uchiha Jin and Nara Shikaku proposed a ten-billion-ryo fine and relocating the three clans’ compounds from the village center, and Minato agreed.
• Uchiha Jin chose Kirigakure as the next target and described its weakened state under the Bloody Mist policies and the limited reforms of Fourth Mizukage Karatachi Yagura.
