Background / History
The Speed Clan maintained a stronghold in a remote, dilapidated village on the border of the Star Luo Empire. Its members guarded the settlement closely and initially attempted to repel Zhu Zhuqing and Gui Mei when they arrived seeking the clan's Crystal Blood Dragon Ginseng. 145
Gui Mei's Title Douluo pressure immediately pinned the clan members to the ground, rendering their renowned speed useless. Clan leader Bai He, a Soul Douluo, and the elders then confronted the intruders. 145
Bai He denied possessing the Crystal Blood Dragon Ginseng until Zhu Zhuqing pressed him, after which he refused to surrender the treasure and declared that the declining clan would not be bullied. Zhu Zhuqing countered the clan's speed with Gravity Swamp. 145
After taking the ginseng, Zhu Zhuqing gave the clan an ultimatum: replace and confine Bai He while submitting to Martial Soul Hall, or face annihilation. Bai He ultimately surrendered to preserve the clan, which was subsequently taken to Martial Soul City. 146
Characteristics
- The clan specializes in extreme speed and intelligence gathering, making it a potentially dangerous opposing force despite its declining condition. 146
