Background

Ice Empress is one of the Far North's foremost ice-attribute Soul Beasts and a close companion of Snow Empress. When Snow Empress foresees an unprecedented disaster following A‑Tai's sacrifice, Ice Empress initially shows little concern for A‑Tai but agrees to investigate and prepare for the threat together. 240

She witnesses Zhu Zhuqing's destruction of the Ice Bear Clan and demands to know whether the Titan Snow Demon and Ice Jade Scorpion clans were also targeted. Zhu Zhuqing's taunt regarding the Ice Jade Scorpion Clan provokes her into launching the first attack. 241
