They had underestimated the influence of the Spirit Network. No one had expected a new Divine Domain to be born so soon.

In the past, the emergence, spread, and stabilization of a "new concept" might have taken decades or even centuries.

After the Spirit Network Divine Domain was born, the previously murky situation became instantly clear.

The gods were broadly divided into three factions: supporters, neutrals, and opponents.

Most gods aligned with order supported Anse, and even Bane was no exception.

Most of the opposition came from chaotic factions, along with a small number of neutral deities. Lawful deities were exceedingly rare among them.

Anse had originally intended to forge alliances and contact potential allies, but before he could make a move, everyone had already made their positions clear.

The neutral faction was the largest.

They might not yet understand the situation, might not dare provoke the God of the Spirit Network, or might simply be waiting and watching.

The Seldarine, to which Sehanine belonged, was part of the neutral faction. Most of its deities neither supported nor opposed him.

The sole opponent was Fenmarel Mestarine, the God of Exile and Isolation. He had always been out of step with the other Elf gods.

There were quite a few supporters. Four had openly declared their stance through their own followers: Sehanine; Moonbow, Alathrien; Delana, Erevan; Iliriel, Kirith; and Sothrel.

Anse did not pay much attention to it. Some Elf deities were only offering temporary support and might change their minds in a few days.

His true supporters were still the Metallic Dragons and the human gods aligned with order.
