Faced with the truth Youhu laid out, Shisui didn't believe it at all.
Danzo had never made a move against him. Youhu was the one who had taken his Sharingan. Everything Youhu was saying now was nothing but excuses. He wouldn't believe another word Youhu said.
Youhu could only feel helpless. He'd spent his whole life deceiving people with lies, and now, when he finally told the truth for once, Shisui still didn't believe him.
Since Shisui refused to trust him, Youhu lost interest in talking to him.
After leaving Tiehuo behind to keep Shisui company, Youhu left the underground laboratory and prepared to return to Jiraiya, waiting for the news of Shisui's disappearance to start spreading.
After all, making Shisui disappear was only the first step of the plan. Youhu would completely rewrite the fate of the Clan Annihilation Night.
After Youhu left, Tiehuo took Shisui to a lounge inside the laboratory. He had his subordinates bring Shisui tea and snacks, then sat down beside him.
Shisui picked up a cookie. He wasn't worried it might be poisoned and began to chew and swallow it slowly.
He was already a prisoner, after all, and Youhu had demonstrated such overwhelming strength that even if Itachi knew what had happened, he wouldn't be able to stop Youhu.
Since he couldn't fight back, he might as well give up struggling and see if he could preserve a few seeds for the clan.
