After taking on the mission to find Shisui, Jiraiya brought Youhu and the others to the Surveillance Room in the Hokage Building.
After pulling up the footage, they discovered that Shisui had indeed visited the Hokage Building the night before. But he had stayed for only a dozen minutes or so before hurrying off.
Seeing this, Youhu's expression relaxed, and he breathed a sigh of relief. "I knew Tiehuo and his lot were slandering the Third Lord. Why would the Third Lord attack Brother Shisui?"
Mentioning slander made Jiraiya and Kakashi both look at Youhu, their expressions a little strange.
Anyone who didn't know better would think you'd never spread rumors about the Third Hokage. The rumors that he was partial to men and had coerced the Uchiha Clan Head were still circulating in the village.
