He had no skin anywhere on his body, just scarlet muscles and bone armor, pale and soaked in blood. Even the pair of scythe-shaped bone spikes had lost their original color, drenched entirely in blood.
His back was covered in densely packed spikes, and his backwards-bending arms and knees gave him tremendous explosive power. His shoes had long since fallen apart, and a layer of Bone Armor covered his legs from the shins down.
When Rono saw Douglas, he said nothing. In Berserker Mode under Absolute Calm, emotions like anger, fear, and excitement were impossible. A Berserker had only one thought: how to kill.
Feeling the fierce aura radiating from Rono, Douglas refused to back down and unleashed his Conqueror's Haki. A faint red fighter appeared above him, and a wave of dizziness assaulted Rono's mind. His pupils contracted sharply, and a Conqueror's Haki no weaker than Douglas's surged from him, mixing with his Killing Intent to form a black-and-red skull with sharp horns and bared fangs.
Perhaps because it had mixed with the Killing Intent, the skull looked a little more solid than Douglas's. Rono charged, and Douglas met him head-on, a flicker of surprise crossing his face. Both had a strong command of Armament Haki, and sparks flew with every clash.
Rono's bones were incredibly hard. Douglas had to use more Armament Haki to block his attacks, and as the fight went on, he grew more and more alarmed. His Energy Blast seemed to have no effect on Rono at all.
