For over 800 years, the Celestial Dragons had ruled the world. After generations of subtle influence, few people thought much of the commoners living beneath the Red Line Continent. If the Gongdongtalio Family hadn't lacked strong fighters, they wouldn't have been so invested in CP0. Not everyone in the family thought highly of CP0, but at least the head of the Gongdongtalio Family took it very seriously.
"So what are you suggesting?" Solomon asked calmly.
"Compensation. The Gongdongtalio Family needs compensation." Joshua stared into Solomon's eyes. His mission was to stall for time until Douglas died.
"Compensation? I don't recall that being part of Celestial Dragon law." Solomon sneered. He knew how strong Douglas was and had never thought Rono would kill him, especially since he'd given Douglas the Secret Medicine. Besides, someone else had done the deed.
"Sairona is a member of our family, too. Of course we need compensation. I know you don't even let other families lay a finger on your slaves."
Solomon took a sip of red wine, collected his thoughts, and looked up. "So what kind of compensation do you want?"
"A CP0 position." Joshua smiled, and Solomon smiled too. CRASH! Solomon smashed his wineglass onto the floor, narrowed his eyes, so much like Douglas's, and said coldly, "Looks like you don't want to negotiate. Is this your idea, or the Gongdongtalio Family's?"
"Of course it's my idea. As the next head of the family, if I don't get anything in return after my personal bodyguard was killed, my people will lose heart." Joshua kept smiling, unfazed by Solomon's actions.
"Impossible. Pick something else." Solomon loosened his tie, growing irritated.
"I heard there's a Zoan Dragon-Dragon Fruit, Black Dragon form, in the Atalia Family's warehouse. Why not give me that as compensation?" Joshua pressed him
