Repairing the Pirate Hat required the Tailor profession. Ling Chu scrolled through the public chat and quickly found a tailor taking orders; the labor fee was just one Wheat Bread and one bottle of Mineral Water. After signing a contract with him, she sent the hat over.

Today was the second day of the novice period, and quite a few people had triggered professions.

"After becoming a skeleton, I realized I don't feel tired, and I don't want to sleep," Titch said honestly.

Ling Chu thought about it—that made sense. Why would a skeleton need to sleep?

This Henchman didn't need to eat, didn't need to rest, and could even handle the helm and keep watch. He was practically a model worker of the era, saving her a lot of worry.

She looked around. After a night of sailing, they seemed to have entered unfamiliar waters, with more floating debris on the sea surface.

After a night, the Water Purifier was full. Ling Chu used the water to wash up briefly, then went to the deck.

The arrow struck the Dummy's arm.

Though her aim was off, at least she hadn't missed entirely.

After a few tries, Ling Chu found she preferred the feel of the bow. Plus, arrows were silent, making them a better fit for her Ghostly Steps when launching sneak attacks.

After practicing archery for a while, Ling Chu suddenly remembered she hadn't used the Gambler's Coin she'd just acquired.

She placed the coin in her palm, tossed it into the air, and quickly caught it on the back of her hand.
