The Buddhist Shrine looked as if it had been made from some kind of precious wood. Its patterns resembled ancient Chinese designs, but the Buddha enshrined inside wasn't anything Ling Chu recognized from her memories.
It had only the outline of a seated figure. Like the Death God gacha machine, its face had no features.
Ling Chu scanned it with the Eyepatch, and information appeared.
[Atonement Buddhist Shrine] [Quality: Legendary] [Can be installed on a ship. Durability Value +1] [Burn one stick of incense each day to remove 10 Sin Value.]
This thing was certainly unusual. It could actually remove Sin Value.
She'd been right. The Wu Fei Wu sisters looked like they'd done plenty of robbing and looting, yet their Sin Value was only 40. Wasn't that a little low? They probably used this Buddhist Shrine because they didn't want to attract attention or rank too high on the Sin Ranking.
But it wasn't much use to Ling Chu. She needed her Sin Value to climb the rankings, so she wasn't about to atone for a single point.
Still, it was a Legendary item, so Ling Chu tucked it into her Ring Space.
Huang Xiaowen had also contributed to this haul, so Ling Chu asked what she wanted.
"I didn't really help much. I don't need a share."
Huang Xiaowen rubbed her cheek awkwardly.
She did want the five Fine Shurikens. They felt similar to her throwing knives, and they were easier to use than Daggers.
But she was embarrassed to ask. She still owed Ling Chu Sea Shells.
"I'll give you one of these two Level 3 Ships. I'll still give you three days' worth of food and Freshwater, plus two hundred pieces of Charcoal. And I'll pay you the thousand Sea Shells we agreed on."
