As night deepened, the stream murmured on, and the occasional chirp of insects drifted from the woods.

The ice house was pleasantly warm, shutting out the dampness and chill wind outside.

Ling Chu lay on the soft Ice Bed and soon fell into a deep sleep.

Black Bear lay outside the ice house, his massive body like a small mountain. He rested his head on his front paws, breathing heavily through his nose, occasionally raising his head to sniff the surrounding scents.

That night, no players came near, and no foolish beasts came looking for trouble.

Ling Chu rarely got such a peaceful night's sleep.

Early the next morning.

The sky had only just begun to brighten when Ling Chu opened her eyes on schedule.

She sat up and stretched her shoulders and neck, feeling utterly refreshed. The exhaustion that had built up over the past two days was completely gone.

Sure enough, you needed a proper bed to sleep well.

Ling Chu walked out of the ice house. Hearing the movement, Black Bear immediately got to his feet, shook the dew from his fur, and eagerly approached her.

Ling Chu patted his head, then took out and unfolded the map as her first order of business.

Today was the final day of the challenge.

The map had once again refreshed two Treasure Chest locations and one green evacuation point. However, the three icons were closer together than yesterday, nearly all concentrated in the central region of the map.

It seemed that as the challenge time dwindled, the system was continually compressing the players' range of movement.
