Chen looked around the space he had exchanged for and found it quite large, about the size of two soccer fields. There was nothing around him, though; it was completely empty.
"System, didn't you say this space could become a world someday? Why is there nothing here?"
"Because the host has not yet exchanged for any Elemental Origins, the space is still completely empty. What you see now is all there is."
"Elemental Origins? What are those?"
"Simply put, exchanging for an Elemental Origin allows you to reshape this space. For example, if you exchange for the Earth Origin, your space will have land. If you exchange for the Water Origin, water will appear in the space. That's how it works!"
"That sounds like a lot of trouble. First, tell me how many Points one Elemental Origin costs."
"Elemental Origin, item type: no idea what this is, item rank: S-rank, exchange cost: 10,000 Points."
"10,000 Points? That's not too outrageous. I'll exchange for one after I've earned more Points. For now, this space is only useful for storing things." Chen then took some banknotes from the box and put them on himself for safekeeping before preparing to leave the space.
Afterward, Chen left the stronghold and headed toward the Land of Wind. After walking for about two hours, he finally reached the border. Looking at the boundless desert, Chen couldn't help feeling helpless. "Sigh! I've only just reached the border. Who knows how long it'll take to get to a post station or a small town?"
