The Road Must Not Be Blocked

Senju Tobirama studied the direction Uchiha Chen was heading and thought it over carefully. Suddenly, his expression changed in alarm. "Th-this direction!" His face darkened. "Isn't this the way to the Hyuga Family's compound?"

Senju Tobirama's expression grew increasingly gloomy. "What's going on? Why is Uchiha Chen heading for the Hyuga Clan's compound? What happened between them? Why is the Hyuga Clan involved? Could they have reached some kind of agreement?"

As though he had thought of something he shouldn't have, Senju Tobirama felt a bad premonition rising in his heart. In his view, Uchiha Chen was heading to the Hyuga Clan because he had reached some sort of unsavory agreement with certain members of the Uchiha. Otherwise, why would he be going there?

The thought made Senju Tobirama's mood sink. He couldn't figure out who had reached this agreement with Uchiha Chen. No matter who it was, he simply couldn't understand why they had.

Whoever it was, this was enough to warrant his attention. As the Senju Clan had gradually weakened, the Uchiha and the Hyuga Clan had become Konoha's two largest clans. If they turned on each other and traded attacks, it would throw Konoha into turmoil. That was the one thing Senju Tobirama didn't want to see.

Konoha wasn't Senju Tobirama's alone, nor did it belong to just the Uchiha or the Hyuga. After his elder brother, Hashirama Senju, and Madara Uchiha had founded Konoha together—especially after Senju Tobirama had taken his brother's place—he had sworn to protect the village his brother built.

If it were just ordinary bickering, Senju Tobirama wouldn't have said anything. Healthy competition only led to progress, and normal rivalry between the two clans would benefit Konoha. But this kind of destructive competition would only tear Konoha apart, perhaps even inflicting grievous harm
