Hyuga Mahya Seeking Death

As a member of the Hyuga Main Family, Hyuga Mahya had always been proud of his status. Though he looked down on the branch family, he valued the honor of the Hyuga Clan more than his own life.

After all, without his status as a member of the Hyuga Main Family, he was nothing more than an Elite Jonin. Without that status, he was nothing in Konoha.

That was precisely why he had stood up when Uchiha Chen dared to challenge the dignity of the Hyuga Clan—even with Second Hokage Tobirama Senju standing against him.

But before that, Hyuga Mahya had keenly picked up on what the Second Hokage meant. He hadn't come with Uchiha Chen, and Senju Tobirama had no intention of getting involved. He was merely there to mediate.

He regarded Uchiha Chen with contempt and spoke in a condescending tone. "You're still so young, and I know you haven't had an easy time training. If you're willing to kneel and apologize, then join our Hyuga Clan, I'll let you off on account of the Second Hokage. What do you say? This is your only chance, so you'd better take it."

Hyuga Mahya delivered his final words with a suggestive tone. This was a golden opportunity to raise his standing within the Hyuga Clan, and of course he intended to use it to make a name for himself among his own people. He might even be able to seize this chance
