Kakashi Hatake's reputation as a guy who could go toe-to-toe with anyone hadn't come out of nowhere. Whether you were a jonin or one of the Six Paths, Kakashi could match you blow for blow.

After obtaining Obito's other Mangekyo, Kakashi's strength had increased dramatically. But it hadn't made a bit of difference—he was still just a guy who could match anyone.

As Chen headed toward the main battlefield, he searched carefully, but didn't spot anyone he knew. Ino and the others were probably near the main battlefield.

Now that Six Paths Madara had appeared, there was no way to defeat him without concentrating their strength.

Only after he'd pulled Ino into the system space did Chen realize what he'd done.
