Although Sasuke had realized that even after making great progress in his training, he still wasn't a match for Uchiha Chen, a faint warmth nevertheless rose in his heart.
After all, Chen was the last—and only—family Sasuke had left in this world.
"Since you're still alive, why don't you come with us?" Sasuke thought for a moment, then suggested. He didn't feel like overthinking it.
In his eyes, if Chen joined them, their strength would increase tremendously. Sealing Kaguya Otsutsuki would be a piece of cake, wouldn't it?
Hearing Sasuke's words, Sakura's eyes lit up too. She didn't know just how strong Chen was, but judging by Sasuke's expression, he seemed to be no weaker than him.
But... would Chen agree? Sakura cautiously glanced at Uchiha Chen. After all, this guy had a record, and she didn't exactly trust the man who had once led an invasion of Konoha.
But Sasuke had already asked, and Sakura had never known how to refuse him. Besides, the man before them was Sasuke's older brother—which meant that if she and Sasuke got married, he would become her brother-in-law too.
As she thought about it, a faint blush crept onto Sakura's face. She seemed to be imagining her married life with Sasuke.
Sakura shook her head, lost in thought, her blushing face beaming with happiness. She quietly chided herself, "Why am I thinking about this now? Sakura, Sakura, how can you daydream about romance at a time like this?"
Uchiha Chen said nothing. He gave Sakura a thoughtful look, making her blush even more, then shook his head with a smile. "No."
"Why?" Sasuke asked, confused. "Isn't now the perfect time? Once we defeat Kaguya Otsutsuki, it'll all be over, and we'll be able to fulfill our dreams. Why not?"
