Chapter 40: This Kiana Is Too Much for Him to Handle!
After arriving at Senba Academy, the morning classes passed by pleasantly.
Why pleasantly? Well, Su Moqian had once experienced high school life in Shenzhou.
Compared to the battlefield-like high school life in Shenzhou, things here in the Far East were naturally much more enjoyable.
At last, it was lunchtime. Su Moqian and Mei walked side by side to the back of the school building, where they waited quietly for Kiana.

Raiden Mei spoke gently. "Good afternoon, Kiana... Why do you have bread? Is that all you're having for lunch?"
"Yep." Kiana nodded, then plopped down between them and explained:
"Moqian and I were up really late yesterday. By the time I went to bed, it was already past midnight."
"So I accidentally overslept and didn't have time to make a bento."
At that, Raiden Mei suddenly felt as if a weight had landed on her head.
She asked, puzzled, "Kiana, you just said... what did you and Moqian do last night?"

"Kiana and I spent ages trying to outwit them. We kept it up until the police arrived, so it was already really late by the time we got home."
After speaking, Su Moqian shot Kiana a look, signaling that she shouldn't mention the Honkai.
After all, what had happened last night counted as a supernatural event, and Mei was just an ordinary person. Su Moqian didn't want her getting dragged into it.
Kiana understood and immediately played along. "That's right! That's exactly what happened. It was so dangerous last night!"

As he spoke, Su Moqian took a bento from his bag and handed it to Mei.

Meanwhile, Su Moqian took out his own bento and got ready to eat.

Her wide eyes were filled with longing for the bento, and a faint glimmer of moisture even appeared in them.
Even when facing death the previous night, Kiana hadn't looked this wretched. But this boiled fish and shrimp dumplings had done the trick!
Su Moqian set down his chopsticks and looked at Kiana.

"Mom saw how much you liked Shenzhou food last night, so she made a bento for you this morning too."
Hearing Su Moqian's words, Kiana's face lit up with joy.
"Yay! You're the best, Moqian!"
Beaming, Kiana snatched the bento from him. She opened it, picked up the rice paddle, and immediately started eating.
Worried that Kiana wouldn't know how to use chopsticks, Su Wuxian had made sure to pack a rice paddle for her.
"Lalalala~ Boiled fish and shrimp dumplings~"
Seeing Kiana's blissful smile over nothing more than a delicious meal, Su Moqian couldn't help smiling too.
He'd wanted to tease this little white-haired ball a bit longer, but he just couldn't keep it up.
If only I could keep her smiling so carefree and happily.
Kiana and Su Moqian were both happy, but Raiden Mei was left completely stunned as she watched them.
"How could this happen, Auntie? I'm supposed to be your one-and-only daughter-in-law..."
While Mei sat there, dejected and distracted, on the other side of the school building...
"Raiden Mei's emotions are fluctuating. Nice work, Bronya."
Listening to the voice in her earpiece, Bronya kept an eye on Su Moqian and replied from her hiding place:
"Don't worry. Instead of killing Su Moqian outright, I've found a better way to make Raiden Mei's emotions collapse."
"Oh? Then I'll look forward to seeing it~"
After ending the call, Bronya continued watching Su Moqian.
After investigating all morning, she now understood everything there was to know about the tastes of people from Shenzhou!
Bronya was certain she'd succeed!
Chapter 41: Bronya: Why Are Otaku So Weird?
It was evening, with only a few minutes left until the end of school.
Raiden Mei sat upright, keeping Su Moqian in the corner of her eye at all times.
After thinking it over all afternoon, she'd had an epiphany.
Mei realized that, even though she had a huge advantage, staying passive could still leave an opening for another girl to swoop in.
It was like those warriors who kept claiming they were invincible, only to get beaten in battle and end up lying on the ground with their mouths open and eyes shut.

Watching him go, Raiden Mei bit her lip without realizing it.
What she'd wanted to say was, "I can go with her too."
But in the end, she couldn't bring herself to say it. She didn't want to share Su Moqian's love with anyone else.
"Who is that girl? If she's staying at Su Moqian's place, she must be one of his relatives, right?" Raiden Mei wondered, uncertain.
Before long, Su Moqian had pushed Bronya home.
As soon as they arrived, Bronya eagerly hurried into her room.
"Brother Moqian, Bronya will head to her room first. We can talk over dinner."
"Oh, okay." Su Moqian nodded.
Once back in her room, Bronya shut the door and summoned Heavy Cannon Rabbit.
In a quiet voice, Bronya said, "Heavy Cannon Rabbit, show me the perfect character profile for someone from Shenzhou that you found in your research."
Since her pure and adorable little-sister image hadn't won Su Moqian over, she had to adopt a new persona.
Heavy Cannon Rabbit obediently turned the tablet screen toward Bronya. A line of text appeared on it:
