Background

Cocolia assigns Bronya to infiltrate Senba Academy and determine why Raiden Mei—the vessel of the Third Herrscher—has become emotionally stable. During her arrival in Changkong City, she encounters Su Moqian while fleeing from the Pseudo-Herrscher Asakura Miyuki. Recognizing that neither she nor Heavy-Duty Bunny could defeat a Pseudo-Herrscher, she allows Su Moqian to carry her to safety while Kiana provides cover. 20 21

After Su Moqian shelters her, Bronya secretly orders Heavy-Duty Bunny to investigate him. She deduces that his connection to Raiden Mei is likely responsible for Mei's stabilized emotions. Cocolia subsequently orders Su Moqian's elimination because he threatens Anti-Entropy's artificial Honkai outbreak plan; Bronya instead attempts to confine him, claiming she means to protect the person who saved her. 23 25

A System simulation depicts Bronya imprisoning Su Moqian in a basement, intending to leave Anti-Entropy with him after rescuing Seele. Although the simulation ends with Su Moqian's death, Bronya later makes a real attempt to restrain him, only for him to counter her with Clay Spiders and force an explanation. 24
