Background

Seele was trapped in the Sea of Quantum for years. Her longing to reunite with Bronya, along with the companionship of her other self, helped her endure its isolation. 41 42

Su Moqian summoned Seele from the Sea of Quantum through Wrath of the Minotaur, initially frightening her. Once he explained that Bronya was nearby and that she had reached the real world, Seele chose to trust him. 41 Her initial return was temporary, allowing only limited time in reality each day. 42 44

After learning that Bronya had become entangled in Cocolia's plan in an effort to save her, Seele agreed to help Su Moqian pull Bronya away from Anti-Entropy. Her reunion with Bronya became the decisive reason Bronya abandoned Cocolia's cause. 42 43 44

Later, Su Moqian revealed that he had found a way to free Seele permanently, but the proposed condition left her conflicted because of her loyalty to Bronya. 120 121 Seele ultimately gained a permanent place in the real world and celebrated the result with Bronya, Kiana, Mei, and Su Moqian. 130

Personality

Seele is initially timid, soft-spoken, and easily embarrassed, particularly around unfamiliar situations or when discussing her own feelings. Despite her fear, she is resilient: she survives the Sea of Quantum, accepts the limits of her temporary return, and agrees to confront Bronya for her sake. 41 42

Her strongest attachment is to Bronya. Seele refuses to betray her even when doing so could secure Seele's permanent return to reality, demonstrating that her gratitude toward Su Moqian does not outweigh her devotion to her sister. 121

Seele gradually becomes more proactive. She seeks out Su Moqian to speak about her feelings and accepts responsibility for looking after him when Bronya entrusts him to her. 121 123

Rescue from the Sea of Quantum

Su Moqian selects Seele as the person Bronya cherishes most and summons her from the Sea of Quantum. After earning Seele's trust, he recruits her to help stop Bronya from aiding Cocolia. 41 42

Reunion with Bronya

Seele reunites with Bronya after years of separation. Their emotional reunion persuades Bronya to surrender and abandon Cocolia's scheme, even though Seele can initially remain in reality only for limited periods. 43 44

Permanent Return

When Su Moqian presents a difficult condition for fully rescuing Seele, she refuses to act against Bronya's interests. Black Seele investigates Bronya's intentions, while Seele eventually commits to pursuing her own feelings as well. 120 121 122 123

Seele is permanently freed from the Sea of Quantum by Chapter 130, allowing her to remain with Bronya and attend St. Freya Academy. 122 130
