Accident and Pursuit

Today, Might Guy was out on a mission and couldn't train with the brothers, so the training ground only had the two of them.

After training for only a short while, Haku suddenly heard the sound of a branch snapping in the distance.

The training ground they were in was located in a forest far from the village's central residential area.

Although it was still within the village's sensory barrier, it was already quite far from the village itself. Normally, besides the Might trio, no one else would come here for training.

It seemed something had happened, and it was best to go take a look. If something truly went wrong and this training ground became unusable, finding a new one wouldn't be easy.

As for danger.

One must remember that being a Ninja is a high-risk profession. A seasoned Ninja must be meticulous in all details, otherwise, they could easily put themselves in a very disadvantageous position when carrying out missions in the wild.

The fact that such a clear sound of a branch snapping could be heard during their movement indicated that the person making the noise wasn't very strong, and was likely a rookie.

As for Might Duy, Haku glanced at him and then shook his head. He decided not to bring him along.

Duy's current strength was still a long way from Genin level; he estimated it would take until next year to reach Genin.

If anything dangerous happened, he wouldn't be able to protect Duy if he brought him along. It was better to let him continue his training here peacefully.

After telling Duy he was going to relieve himself and that Duy should train by himself today and head home alone, Haku quietly moved towards the direction of the sound.

Not long after, Haku caught up to the person making the noise. During the pursuit, Haku also unexpectedly discovered that he wasn't the only one tracking them.

[Someone else has also discovered these people. I don't know if this other tracker is friend or foe. I'll leave a signal and fall back to discuss.]

After leaving the code, Haku headed towards the designated meeting point.

[Come out, Might Haku. I know it's you!]

Looking at the figure that appeared not too far ahead, he finally understood why the voice had sounded familiar.

The other tracker who revealed herself was his classmate whom he had met today, Uchiha Yu.

Seeing this, Haku had to admit that although the Uchiha had attitude problems, looking down on this and that, they indeed had the strength to disdain other Ninja clans.

Uchiha Yu was the same age as him. He hadn't discovered her identity, yet she had already identified him and accurately pinpointed his hiding spot.

Uchiha Yu's strength was at least Genin level, and even among Genin, she was considered a master.

[At your age, to achieve this much, I will tentatively acknowledge you as a comrade. Let's exchange information.]

A clear, crisp voice interrupted Haku's thoughts about Uchiha Yu.

[Based on the traces left behind, there are 3 people on the other side. Their strength should be below Genin or just reaching Genin level.]

Haku immediately stated his findings and opinion without hesitation.

[Also, the other side should be enemies. This area is already very close to the barrier. Another half-hour's walk and they'll be out of the village. If a Ninja from our village were going out, they wouldn't come this way.]
