Araki stared at the bonfire burning with special fuel, growing more and more irritated. He was a Chunin from Amegakure and had been following Lord Mifune for over half a month, yet he hadn't seen a single enemy. All he'd done was keep collecting the bodies of fellow villagers.
Now he'd been assigned to stand guard here, with no idea how long he'd have to stay.
Damn it! How long does Suzuki need to take a leak? Is he dead or something? Someone go check on him! Bring him back—I'm going to teach him a lesson!
His angry shouts had barely faded when he saw a figure stumble out of the shadows in the distance.
Suzuki seemed to have been frightened by what Araki had just said. He rushed straight up to him and fell to his knees.
Captain Araki, I'm sorry. I had an upset stomach and went to take care of it. Don't believe me? You can smell for yourself!

Disgusted by Suzuki's words, Araki kicked him.

Then something happened that left the others stunned.
The usually timid Suzuki didn't meekly endure the kick and apologize. Instead, he reached out and grabbed Captain Araki by the ankle, then...
Boom!
Araki was slammed to the ground. As his head struck the earth, a cloud of smoke billowed up.
When the smoke cleared, the other ninja saw Captain Araki lying on the ground. He was clearly dead.
