Weird Tale Reaction

"Knock, knock, knock..."

Late at night, the urgent knocking suddenly rang out. The man, who had been lying in bed without falling asleep, sprang up, reached out, and pulled a sledgehammer from hiding behind him. He cautiously walked toward the Room Door.

Although he felt that an enemy would never knock, the sudden arrival of someone in the middle of the night still put him on alert.

"Who is it?"

"It's me!" A clear female voice came from outside, accompanied by a strange power.

Sensing that this power belonged to a Divine Duty, the man immediately relaxed. However, he did not put away the sledgehammer in his hand. He quickly opened the Room Door and let in the girl outside, who looked no older than fourteen or fifteen. Only after closing the door did he frown and ask:

"What brings you here so late?"

"Didn't you feel it earlier?" The girl frowned at the man's utterly bewildered expression and could not help sighing.

"Don't you even have any perception-related Divine Duties?"

"I do, and they've been active the whole time, but I didn't sense anything." The man continued to carry the sledgehammer as he checked his [Human Radar] Trait, confirming that powers such as [Scanning], [Detection], and [Electromagnetic Induction] had remained active. His slight worry immediately turned into certainty.

Seeing his expression, the girl could not be bothered with further explanations and simply said:

"A few minutes ago, the power of dreams swept over this place. I suspect some dream deity was conducting a large-scale search."

"And you still dared to come here?" The man's brow furrowed even deeper. If a dream deity was conducting a large-scale search, people like them who had not fallen asleep should have been particularly conspicuous. If the other party followed the trail and found
