Zhou Qiangsen rubbed his nose, looking a little awkward.

If he'd known how to eliminate those mutated trees, he wouldn't have just watched his companions get swallowed up while fleeing in such a sorry state.

Still, after thinking for a moment, Zhou Qiangsen said, "Based on various previous cases, the experts at the Central Hub have reached a few conclusions. They're still being discussed, though, so they're not particularly well established yet."

"What conclusions?"

"First, Underground Race creatures are extremely difficult to kill by conventional means. Second, destroying the shells controlled by the Underground Race won't kill them. Third, to kill them for good, you have to strike at the Underground Race themselves."

"And most importantly, the Underground Race's true forms vary. They're good at hiding and changing shape, so they're difficult to detect."
