The Giant Reappears

When Jiang Yue and Lin Yifei accompanied Ding Lei to her apartment building, everyone was stunned.

Half of the building where Ding Lei lived had already collapsed. The remaining half leaned at a precarious angle, looking ready to come down at any moment.

The collapsed section had been buried beneath a pile of rubble.

Clearly, no one could have survived.

"Mom! Dad!" Ding Lei suddenly lost control, rushing toward the rubble and trying to dig through it with her bare hands.

Jiang Yue and Lin Yifei exchanged a glance and silently shook their heads.

Lin Yifei had never felt much for her parents. In fact, she deeply resented her family.

So it was difficult for her to truly empathize with Ding Lei.

Jiang Yue sighed and stepped forward to pat Ding Lei on the shoulder. "Ding Lei, try to accept it. No one survived in this building."

After enduring one disaster after another, Ding Lei had undoubtedly become more resilient. Though she lost control for a moment, she quickly regained some composure.

She lay against the rubble, sobbing silently.
