Later, Grass and Chen Lin joined them.

"Are we going to be trapped here until we die?"
Despair filled Gou Yushan's face.
Chen Lin glanced at him and silently shook his head.
Although this alien possessed Spirit Transformation-level strength, his mental fortitude was sorely lacking. At the slightest trouble, he panicked, without a trace of the composure expected of someone powerful.
Perhaps this was because of the differences between cultivation systems.
Apart from cultivators, other cultivation systems seemed to have no requirements for mental fortitude, or very low ones even if they did.
This meant that cultivators advanced more slowly than those of other systems, such as the Demon Race and Devil Race. Their advantage lay in their stability, however, with cultivation deviation occurring comparatively rarely.

"Do you have any ideas, Fellow Daoist Baihua?"
She had cultivated longer than he had and possessed some memories of a mighty expert. Perhaps she could offer a unique insight.
But Hundred Flowers Fairy shook her head. "As far as I know, the Nightmare Realm's rules can only be unraveled through exploration. Forcing your way through is impossible, even for Mahayana-level beings. If I still had my body, I could experiment with some investigative methods, but as I am now, there's nothing I can do."
