"It's too early to give up," said the female Player with a tattoo between her brows. "This is only the beginning. If we back down just because we're up against Players from this district, won't they look down on us?"
The others with her were more or less of the same mind. Of course, more importantly, they wanted to clear the level. After all, compared with the dangerous Will Delivery, Xu Huo's task of returning a gift didn't look like it had any chance of helping them clear the level.
Xu Huo didn't say much. He turned and told the two Wan family members, "Be careful."
The two nodded. In fact, they hadn't let their guard down since the attack ended. They were even more wary now than they had been during the attack.

"Not necessarily." The Players who had ambushed them earlier had occasionally vanished from his range of perception, but they'd followed the train the whole time. They didn't seem to be trying to kill Ling Ling and the others or steal the will. If they were worried about damaging the train, they could have waited for it to stop, or simply forced their targets off the train.
There had to be a reason they were keeping their distance while staying close.
