The light illuminated an area more than ten meters around them. The curly-haired female player opened her eyes, turned her head, and retched. Then she glared angrily at Yan Jiayu. "I lost to you fair and square. What do you want?"
Xu Huo tapped the "Coffin Lid." "Why did you attack her?"
Seeing Pink Hair standing nearby, seemingly unharmed, the curly-haired female player looked angry but appeared to accept the situation. "Why don't you ask her?"
Pink Hair frowned but said nothing.
There was no point in players fighting or arguing with one another.
Xu Huo, however, seemed very interested in the matter and insisted on getting to the bottom of it. "Did you attack her because you realized she'd attacked you first?"
The curly-haired female player, still suffering from a concussion, retched before replying. "If she hadn't made the first move, why would I have gone crazy?"
Pink Hair looked at her calmly. "You were the ones who attacked first."
Clearly, both sides thought the other had struck first.
"Help... help me..." Unlucky Face called weakly from nearby. The female player was close to strangling him to death.
Yan Jiayu turned around. "Don't kill him yet. You might all be hallucinating."
The female player loosened her grip a little, but didn't let go of Unlucky Face.
"Why do you think it's a hallucination? Don't you think one of them could be lying?" the old man asked. "It's easy for players to disguise themselves."
Yan Jiayu scratched her head. "There's no need. It doesn't really matter who attacked first. The rest of us aren't going to help someone just because they're in the right."
"If there's something going on, it's better for everyone if we figure it out."
"What if we've been affected too?"
Several players nearby nodded to themselves.
