He discovered that Ding Yu, a supposedly inept youth, was secretly engraving an eye on a Metal Plate, then watched the workshop man search Ding Yu’s room without noticing him.

• Xu Huo examined an abandoned mining island and learned from a Fortune Spring Region family member which relatives carried Feng Clan blood.
• Xu Huo chose Ding Yu from a list of youths under observation and learned that the family had sent him away to train as a craftsman.
• Xu Huo watched Ding Yu secretly carve an eye into a Metal Plate in an empty house after work.
• Xu Huo brought Ding Yu and his tools back to his room when someone from the workshop approached.
• Ding Yu hid his tools before a workshop man searched his room, while Xu Huo stood unseen in the corner.

Xu Huo questioned Ding Yu about the Feng Family and learned that he wanted to find his relatives but was not yet set on revenge. Xu Huo then investigated the Zhu Nuo Family’s territory and discovered nearly fifty Feng descendants being used as expendable test subjects in a Mutated Plant cultivation zone.

• Ding Yu told Xu Huo that his mother had belonged to the Feng Family and that he wanted to find the clan and return to it.

The celebration ended abruptly when the bride stabbed the groom with the Chest Emblem, and he collapsed from apparent poisoning.

Xu Huo learned why the Feng Clan’s descendants continued resisting District 009 and negotiated with the Zhu Nuo family to free them in exchange for their release. When the family head refused, Xu Huo inferred that the Cursed Box contained seeds from Dream Factory’s powerful Mutated Plant and decided to obtain them.

• The bride explained that hatred between the Feng Clan and the Player Family could only end when every Feng Clan member or enemy died.
• Xu Huo offered to let the Zhu Nuo family leave if they handed over Feng Clan descendants held in the Breeding Garden, Dungeons, and elsewhere.

• Xu Huo threatened the Zhu Nuo Family with the hostages and demanded the release of the people from the Dream Factory.
• The Zhu Nuo Family activated interference devices, while members of the Mann Family and another Player Family warned them not to endanger their people.
• Xu Huo killed another player, then unleashed his mental power and black matter after a disguised attacker tried to strike him.

• The Zhu Nuo Family's old man took two Feng descendants hostage and threatened to kill them, but Xu Huo refused to yield.
• Mr. Huo destroyed the manor's sealing barrier and opened the Ticket channels, then offered to mediate between Xu Huo and the Zhu Nuo Family.
• Mr. Huo pressured the Zhu Nuo Family to agree to release the hostages, and Xu Huo returned their captured members from his container item.
• After several Zhu Nuo Family members attacked Xu Huo, Mr. Huo crushed them and killed half the Zhu Nuo Family present.

Chief Executive Charles Huo then forced the Zhu Nuo Family to surrender much of its territory and holdings, leaving its members trapped as their power collapsed.

• Xu Huo activated "Gravity Field," causing Mr. Huo to retreat from his attack.
• Mr. Huo praised Xu Huo as a possible second Carmen Field and let him take the townspeople and the two old men away.

After helping bring down the Zhu Nuo Family, Xu Huo escorted Eileen and the surviving Feng descendants to a hidden settlement in an abandoned Sub-district. He left them with Feng Lanni’s body and supplies, then wondered whether the protective mutated plants would preserve the clan’s history.

• The District Government seized the Zhu Nuo Family’s businesses and forced its players into government service or guard work, while the Sub-district’s families reacted warily to the Feng Clan’s role.
• Xu Huo released Eileen and the Dream Factory survivors in a mutated forest, where the Feng descendants mourned Feng Lanni and returned her body to the Cursed Box.
