Xu Huo survived the Preliminary Train Dungeon, became an official Black Player, and entered the Head Chopper Demon instance. At Hot Spring Villa, he uncovered evidence that the Woodcutter was an old Player who had killed and buried other Players.

• Xu Huo survived the train’s monster attack, completed the Preliminary Train Dungeon, and received his Black Player status, an Ability, and other rewards.
• Xu Huo entered the Head Chopper Demon instance with Yuan Yao and arrived at Hot Spring Villa, where the Players found a hanging corpse with green sores.
• Xu Huo shared a room with Yuan Yao, learned that Yuan Yao was a White Player, and heard Huang Junjie describe an attack by a towering figure in a Black Mask.
• Xu Huo and the Players saw the supposedly dead Woodcutter chopping wood, and the Woodcutter told them the Mountain Villa was cursed and headless deaths had plagued it.
• Xu Huo found a diary about the Head Chopper Demon’s killings, compared it with old newspapers, and presented the Players with a headless statue and a warning about touching it.
• Huang Junjie revealed that he had never touched the statue and suspected an impersonator, while Xu Huo set out with him and Yuan Yao to investigate the Wooden Cabin.
• Xu Huo watched the Woodcutter appear to hang himself, dug up graves containing murdered Players, and accused the Woodcutter of being an old Player who had killed multiple groups and hidden their bodies.

Xu Huo cleared Hot Spring Villa, traded information with Nie Xuan, and was caught in a Random Instance at the Golden Light Building. Inside the factory, he worked with stranded Players to uncover the Secret Room and prepare to rescue the children as darkness closed in.

• Xu Huo killed the stranded Woodcutter, then investigated the Mountain Villa murders and exposed Wang Wei as the Head Chopper Demon, while Liu Yuanyuan admitted she had planned to eliminate the other Players.
• Xu Huo helped defeat Wang Wei and clear the dungeon, chose Ability Development access, and traded Liu Yuanyuan’s identity to Nie Xuan for an Evolution Potion.
• Xu Huo rescued Yu Qingqing from General Manager Zhu, sent her home, and later entered a Random Instance when people began vanishing from the Golden Light Building.
• Red-Nosed Karl transformed Xu Huo and the other captives into pigs, but Xu Huo removed his pigskin, found Sima Xiao Er, and explored the factory while the other Players searched for a way out.
• Xu Huo teamed up with Peng Fengnian and disguised himself as a Tax Bureau official to gain the Skin Stripper’s confidence and discover how to enter his Secret Room.
• Xu Huo told the Players where the Secret Room opened and proposed taking the prized pelts and saving the six children in the Pigsty.
• Peng Fengnian warned Xu Huo that the Factory was suddenly getting closer, and Xu Huo saw darkness swallowing the trees and closing in.

Xu Huo escaped the collapsing Pigsty Dungeon, gained new abilities, and became involved in the hunt for the Holy Sword Society after its members abducted Zhou Xiao. The Society was largely defeated, but its leader Old Eagle escaped Xu Huo’s capture and faced a transformed painted woman as Xu sent fire toward him.

• Xu Huo helped bring down the Pigsty Dungeon, rescued captives, and returned to Ting City with new rewards and a special item.
• Xu Huo met Lichun, the woman from the painting, and joined Yuan Yao in investigating the Holy Sword Society and the disappearance of A Xiao.
• Xu Huo and Zhou Ning’s group fought Society members, rescued Zhou Xiao, and captured Cao Yan, who revealed Old Eagle’s location at Guangde Mall.
• Special Affairs Bureau forces raided the Mall, killing the burly Player and arresting several Society members, while Old Eagle escaped through smoke.
• Xu Huo pursued Old Eagle through the streets and damaged his arm, but Old Eagle escaped after using his metal shield.
• Lichun transformed into a living woman and seized Old Eagle’s shield as Xu Huo sent a wall of fire toward him.

Xu Huo entered Decibel Town and worked with the trapped Players to uncover its riddles, investigate Master Nice’s home, and prepare to confront the Aliens. Their plan to lure the small Alien toward Main Street faltered when the Ground Cage Aliens roared and drove it off course.

• Xu Huo killed Old Eagle before the authorities arrived, returned to the hotel, and divided the Cannibal Players’ loot with his companions.
• Xu Huo traced a trade offer to a Haunted House, where Wang Chaoqing and Nian Hongan revealed that the Villa and its expanding grounds swallowed people and belongings.
• Xu Huo boarded the bus in Decibel Town, learned that its Aliens were drawn to disturbances, and began investigating the town’s riddles and deadly mechanisms.
• Xu Huo discovered Master Nice’s family records and clues about Perfect Evolution, found a time-rewinding dial, and was killed by a hidden attacker before using it to return to life.
• Xu Huo and Gu Yu found Decibel Town’s wiring diagram and organized the Players to cover a Ground Cage entrance with Black Metal and prepare traps.
• Xu Huo answered the town’s riddles and received a Gem-inlaid Watch and a P0T Evolution Injection, while suspicion grew among the Players over the rewards and a near-fatal wrong answer.
• Xu Huo and the Players prepared a gasoline-soaked route to burn the small Alien, but it attacked them, and Xu Huo waited on Main Street as Wu Qiuyi lured it toward him.
• The Ground Cage Aliens roared, causing the small Alien to turn away from Xu Huo on Main Street.
