Xu Huo pursued Carmen Fielder’s legacy through District 12 and District 006, helping expose and counter the forces destabilizing the district. After obtaining Carmen’s kaleidoscope, he entered an Instance in the Rock Forest Restricted Zone and began protecting a group of survivors from Aliens.

• Xu Huo forced the Pleasure Group to stage a Mutant Animal exhibition, where he clashed with visitors from an A-class wormhole point and met Maple, who challenged him to recover her family’s hairpin before she would reveal Carmen’s records.
• Xu Huo retrieved the hairpin and later accepted Lady Feng’s challenge to find a wanted man in District 006, where he encountered Wen Shenghe and helped her group amid the district’s civil war.
• Xu Huo and Wen Shenghe reached Linquan City, found the wanted former governor, and learned that Districts 007 and 009 had stirred up conflict against District 006 while Districts 008 and 010 offered support.
• Xu Huo used the governor’s painted scroll to trap hostile players and seal off much of a city, then helped District 006’s governor suppress the ambush and restore order.
• Xu Huo brought the wanted man to Lady Feng, who gave him Carmen Fielder’s kaleidoscope after reconciling with the man, and its patterns led Xu Huo to the Rock Forest Restricted Zone.
• A battle triggered an Instance that transported Xu Huo and a tour group to an abandoned city overrun by Aliens, and Xu Huo protected the group as he searched for the Instance’s requirements.
• Xu Huo learned that the group had to survive for 25 days, sheltered them in a reinforced building, and fought off a nighttime Alien swarm before moving everyone to a safer location.
• Bingbing introduced her companions, and Tong Chuan’s group explained their dispute with Brother Ya, who promised to return Tong Chuan’s stolen item and compensate him if they survived.

Xu Huo kept the convoy alive as the dungeon’s survival minigames picked off its members, while he searched for the source of the strange spatial disturbances. He entered a shifting realm of Time Power, returned with new control over time, and confronted the Players who had captured his companions.

• Xu Huo entered several dangerous minigames, survived explosive spatial snowflakes and a wilderness full of hazards, and rescued two sisters from the dungeon.
• As the minigames grew more frequent, Xu Huo protected the convoy, rejected attempts to sacrifice ordinary people, and investigated mutated vines and the origin stones beneath them.
• The convoy dwindled as its members entered minigames, and Xu Huo entered a new one with a child on the seventeenth day.
• Xu Huo recognized the star-filled space as the place he had sought, discovered that Curved Time reversed the area around him, and learned to retain his memories as time flowed backward.
• While Xu Huo explored the Astral Space and sensed a person near a river of light and a black Abyss, Players captured Big Sis and the others to learn where he had entered.
• Xu Huo returned and used Time Power to kill or disable the Players, then found research on minigame spaces before the silver-haired man in black chose to follow him.
• Big Sis told Xu Huo how a possible origin stone had changed her abilities, while the silver-haired man revealed that their cross-sub-district instrument could not be activated.
• Xu Huo immobilized the remaining Players, threatened the silver-haired man, and said he would retrieve their family's instrument.

Xu Huo escaped the Dungeon, returned to District 014, and balanced government affairs with time at home before seeking the Magician’s help against Suitcase Man. Hua Han taught him how to resist Transdimensional Space Instruments, and Xu Huo left the Werner estate to learn which Dungeon the Magician had chosen.

• Xu Huo broke through the black space, completed the Dungeon, and found the Fei Sisters amid the spreading war before killing Players who attacked them.
• Xu Huo returned to District 007, fought the Player Family at Blue Heron Islet, and withdrew after confronting the Du Family’s glass-bead holder.
• Xu Huo visited Cangxian Lake, returned to his family, and approved District 014’s proposed leadership list while spending time with them in the mountains.
• Xu Huo sought the Magician’s help to kill a Super Player, and the Magician agreed to consider helping after Xu Huo survived a Dungeon.
• Xu Huo visited Hua Han, who explained Transdimensional Space Instruments and taught him to use Time Resonance against them.
• Hua Han’s household discussed the Game Government’s restrictions on instruments and Wainwright’s plan to have Heather approach Xu Huo.
• Heather Wainwright flirted with Xu Huo, and Hua Han explained that her family wanted an exceptional descendant before sending Xu Huo to learn the Magician’s chosen Dungeon.
